Tomato question
Ive never had much success with tomatoes so need some advice. I don't remember when I bought this seedling or when I planted it. But it was a single seedling that bunnings was selling off cheap as it was a bit of a weird shape and had a bit broken off. I thought id get it and give it a go. Anyway my problem is it has so many big bunches of tomatoes that are just not ripening. It feels like the full sized fruit has been sitting their not ripening for weeks and weeks. This is a very novice question and perhaps this is normal, but if it's not is there anything I can do to help them along. Ive given them seaweed solution, worm castings, blood and bone, kept the excess leaves pruned for good air flow. Any advice is very much appreciated.

Hi Charlene. I'm a bit worried. My local Bunnings also had these on the discount rack and I purchased one. I live in Gippsland so have only just planted and not up to the fruiting stage but now are a bit worried about them. In saying that I often find that my tomatoes sit green for a while and then there is a flurry of red and I am over supplied. Let me know how you go.

@Peter Doblo So do I however, my seedlings this year have been eaten and I was very keen to get my tomatoes planted as I am re-establishing my garden in my new house so not aware yet of what grows well and what doesn't but clearly have lots of bugs. grrrr
We are Going Live Soon
This will be our very first live Coffee Hour Show, which I am planning to host once a week at 9 30am Sydney, Australia time. Our special guest today is @Cormac Harkin, Founder of Vine Permaculture and the host of The Permaculture Vine Podcast. It's going to be a very chilled, relaxed place to hang out. Cormac lives in Ireland, and I am sure he has a very unique perspective on growing food that we can all learn from. I hope to see you there. Bring your questions; every question is regarded as valuable. In the first 30 minutes we will be covering permaculture techniques, and in the second half, we will be going over what it's like to be a creator in the space online. It's going to be awesome. I was told that we can also pre-record it for those who don't have time to attend. You can also place you questions below in the comments box here. I will do my best to get to them during the show,,keep in mind this is my first live in here hehe! See you there Marty

Hi All, My name is Cassandra and I have somewhat recently downsized from a largish garden with mature fruit trees and vege garden to a new build in regional Victoria with smallish block and starting from scratch. The soil quality here is clay and I am gradually trying to bring it back to life. I would be very interested in vertical gardening ideas and any tips on regenerating clay soils in a cheap but cheerful way. I did spend all of my gardening budget this year on purchasing a few dwarf fruit trees to help get me established again. Looking forward to meeting you all and thank Marty for the wonderful idea of bringing us all together. The photo is my favourite Mr. Bean
