Faceless AI Automation Warning
If you have or are planning to do a faceless AI channel, this video is a must watch. Over the last couple of months we had a lot of spam in here promoting automated faceless systems. In the video, Sean talks about how YouTube is cracking down on these types of channels, and literally thousands of channels have been demonetized and some completely removed.

@Mike Bayer Yes, I do use about 5% AI. I buy the rest of the shots from people who sell them because I can't afford to get out there and make those shots myself. Actually, it's too expensive and too hard. I have two drones and a DJI. I have two DJI still cameras as well. They make good videos. I've got the wireless mics as well to do interviews and stuff like that, but that's also hard to get out there when you're over 80. I do a lot of that kind of work. I mainly use DaVinci Resolve and CapCut for editing, and I do write and use free music... Unlike you, I'm not monetized, and this is all paid for out of my pocket. I did try what you suggested in one of your videos. This is what I put on my channel: Buy me a cup of coffee. You know how many cups of coffee I've got so far? None, anyway. I thought I'd try it and see if it worked. Actually, here's the truth: I started my channel at 79 after watching one of your videos. I said I can do this. I did have prior video-making experience, editing, and particularly sound work with my uncle and his sound studio in Los Angeles when I was still in junior high. He had some pretty good contracts with Disney Corporation, and we recorded a group called Lawrence Welk. I'm sure many of the young kids never heard of him, but I got to sit in and tweak some of the audio levels. It was a lot of fun. As for my videos, I'm trying; that's all I can do. I just haven't found the right nich yet I think. Have a super day, Mike? Good to hear from you, keep on Surfing🏄

@Mike Bayer Well you did Mike And I really appreciate it thank you so much it sure gives me a lot to do that's for sure I just can't seem to get any traction with subscribers but I guess that's the way it goes I just don't know what they want to see and I'm not a kind of person that should really be doing a live podcast although I've thought about it anyway thank you so much you have a great day and keep on surfing🏄
Live Call Cancelled BUT I've recorded something for you...
Hey All - Unfortunately I am under the weather today, but I didn't want to leave you hanging without something to think about. So I recorded this video discussing Search vs Browse to follow up on the video I posted here a few days ago. If you have any questions, feel free to ask below. Have a great Valentine's Day weekend.💝 In Finland it's called "Friend's Day" and everyone celebrates their friendships. So hyvää ystävänpäivää (happy friend day) to you!

Next Week “Shorts Masterclass”
Next week’s live call will be with Ludmila Bausheva who is a former Creative Director with 25+ years in advertising who now helps creators understand why some short videos capture attention — and most don’t. Instead of chasing trends or “algorithm hacks,” she teaches a creative-strategy approach to short-form content: how to shape ideas, structure hooks, and turn personal stories or expertise into videos people actually watch. In this masterclass, she breaks down the anatomy of viral-style Shorts in a clear, practical way, showing how to make videos that feel natural while still reaching an audience. Mark your calendars - it’s going to be awesome! 🤩 Feb. 19, 2026 Her Instagram handle : @Ludmila Bausheva

For food really comes from
I think everybody will enjoy this video. I just put it up. It started when I was a young kid, and it talks about where food really comes from. I've grown it for you since I was three years old. You'll see the story. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/R1GhNFXgPjM

@Jaye Brunner Yes, it's true; it just takes a lot of practice. You know you can tell a friend something straight on, but when you put it in a video, you gotta tweak it around and make it sound exciting. That's part of good storytelling, you'll get there🏄
