Group Chat
Hey everyone! I had a question regarding group chat functionality with Xecute and wanted to see if anyone has run into this or found a workaround. My business partner Greg and I are both signed up and activated with Xecute using our own phone numbers. I created a group chat with myself, Greg, and the Xecute phone number because we’re trying to use it as a shared workflow tool. Example: if I’m at Home Depot and upload a receipt and tell Xecute to push that expense into Markate, Xecute completes the action correctly. The issue is that Xecute responds directly back to me "individually" instead of responding inside the "group chat." The problem this creates is visibility between team members. If I upload a receipt and process it through Xecute, "I know" it got done, but "Greg" has no idea because the activity isn’t showing up in our shared conversation (Group Chat). Later on we end up asking each other, “Hey, did you already put that receipt into Xecute?” when ideally we’d both already see the update in the group thread. Has anyone figured out a way to make Xecute actively participate inside a group chat and send all responses/confirmations into the group rather than private individual messages? Or is there another recommended workflow for keeping multiple team members aware of completed actions? Appreciate any help!

This is a GREAT thought. I never considered this and will immeidalty look into option for group chats. In short. when you text Xecute it only registers “which” number texted first, its why it only texts you back and not the group chat. However, I have 15+ team members on my account and I’ve never thought about a group chat. Everyone has their SOP’s they follow. For example, all expenses are immediately taken a photo of. And if I want to check, I simply just check on Markate. It all goes there. Same with everything else everyone triggers. In your case, if you spend a dime, you expense it. (Same with your partner) Xecute will document who spent it and where. But I do like the group chat idea I’m going to explore what that looks like for you!
Something’s wrong with Markate?
Tried to look up a customer to find their phone number. They are already in my system because I gave them a quote months ago. They just called to get on the schedule, but when I went to search their name up in “customers” it said no customer found. Even though I see their estimate still in the estimates so I texted execute to see if it could pull him up for me and xecute didn’t even respond. Help?

Hey Austin! My guess without looking at your books, is hes likely still a lead and not converted to a customer yet. Has he accepted his estimate? Once he (or you) accept his estimate he will auto convert to a customer. If you want to use Xecute you can ask to search the lead Luke. You can also search the lead Luke as well on Markate.
