Our first Guest Interviews for The Possibilties Lab are booked!
➡️I have the first three invitations sent to potential guests for our Possibilities Lab - two confirmed: 1. Creative Endeavors/New Economy Entrpreneur: A woman who launched a successful YouTube channel (in her late 70's) based on her lifelong love of cosmetics. Her channel (and upcoming program) focused on cosmetics for older women. 2. Lifestyle: A woman who has been a permanent international house and petsitter for the past 3 years. She house and pet sits all over the world and has not owned a home (or rented) in this time. 3. New Economy Entrepreneur (digital business) (Still to be confirmed) A woman who started a successful affiliate marketing/digital product + YouTube Channel after a big divorce in her 50's. I will add these to the calendar once all three are confirmed - and let you know so you can bookmark them. ➡️How these interviews will work: 1. Scheduled based on guest availability (not a set day/time) 2. Zoom calls; recorded with replays 3. Q&A (or submit questions prior to the interview). I will record them in 'speaker mode' (meaning we can't see all participants on screen like a typical Zoom) so that I can use the recordings later as an interview. 📍📍📍REMINDER AND REQUEST: The Possibilities Lab is where I interview interesting women who have started interesting things in their 3rd Act. Women who have launched new creative endeavors, have built an interesting, non-traditional lifestyle, have pivoted to 'purpose lead' activities (activism, non-profits and legacy work); and, new economy entrepreneurs (generating income online). If you're new to the community - I published a POLL where you can share register your preferences for guests and topics. 📍📍📍REQUEST: I am open to all suggestions for interviews. If you come across an interesting woman doing something interesting in her 3rd Act - and you want to know more from her - share her details with and I'll reach out for an interview (if appropriate). I am not shy. I will ask anyone... chuckle.

This video landed hard because it reminded me of this truth...
➡️➡️➡️We weren’t lost. We were edited. Have you ever watched a video on social media that just knocked you off your feet? I did. This morning. It's from a creator - @Gregisms (you can follow him on all the platforms - super funny guy - teacher) In this morning's video he talked about the heartbreak teachers experience watching children, between kindergarten and middle school, learn to edit themselves. I don't know why the video grabbed me so hard but, on reflection, I think it sums up what we're doing here in The 3rd Act Lab. Un-editing ourselves. I know we're in there - under decades of life and responsibilities and roles and human interaction and experiences, but it takes some hard word to find it. That's my goal here. Find our weird. Follow our weird... whatever it looks like. ❓❓❓Question: If you could un-edit one version of yourself now - who would she be? PS: I stitched @Gregisms video on my TikTok account. It's a bit of a ramble, but it's a few more of my thoughts if you want to listen

I've been watching "Gregisms" for a while. Many of his videos are funny and light, but this one was serious with a good message. As a recently retired assistant principal at an elementary school, I witnessed his message firsthand every day. The change from Kindergarten to 6th grade is immense (even Kindergarten to Grade 3). While there has always been a need to 'fit in' for many older elementary students, this need has intensified significantly due to social media. It greatly concerns me, and I have witnessed the impact on the mental health of students. I do not have an answer because technology has a hold on kids and adults! Sorry to be a 'Debbie Downer', but the social media issues that came into my office (we have to address them if they are brought into school) took a great deal of my time, and the content students wrote to one another was shocking. I have stories! That being said, to answer the question: If you could un-edit one version of yourself now - who would she be? I would worry less about what people think about me. I tended to be a 'people pleaser', so I was looked at favorably.
Interesting article: The New Old Age

This was an interesting read. It shed light on things being done here in the US and abroad. Bringing a variety of options to scale will be interesting to see.
Starting over at 54
Hello! I am 54, divorce will be final soon. After 32 years of marriage and raising 4 kids...it is time for me. I have a corporate job, but I am so much more than these facts. I love to garden, travel, astrology, meet new people, and learn more about this life experience.
