Portfolio of Paychecks Map
This map shows the full arc of building a portfolio business, from a free newsletter all the way to diversified creator income. Five stages, in order. Each stage shows you the income stream to build, how to know you're in that stage, what the work looks like, and the milestone that tells you you're ready for the next one. Here's how to use it: 1. Download the map below. 2. Find the stage that describes where you are today. Be honest, not aspirational. 3. Look one stage to the right and work towards moving to that stage. If you don't know how, check the classroom for the course that aligns with what you need most. That's it. Don't build ahead, don't build three income streams at once, and don't skip a milestone because the next stage looks more exciting. Skipping stages is how creators end up with five half-built income streams and no paycheck. Once you know your stage, drop the number in the comments and let me know what would help you get to the next stage. Everything I post in this community maps back to these five stages, so knowing yours tells you exactly which lessons and threads to pay attention to first. Which stage of the Portfolio of Paychecks Map are you in right now?

What Were You Doing 5 Years Ago?
Wow, we've grown by more than 50 members this week. Welcome to all of you who recently joined the Society. I thought it would be a great for us to get to know each other a little better. What were you doing 5 years ago vs. today? And how is your life different because of any changes you made intentionally or unintentionally? I was deep in corporate marketing with zero plan to leave. Now I run my portfolio businesses from my couch. Your turn.
Please Introduce Yourself Here
I opened this community for creators who want to grow, monetize, and scale Substack into a portfolio business with multiple income streams. This is where we talk about the things most creators skip: paid tiers, digital products, offer strategy, sponsorships, positioning, and the AI workflows that help you do more without hiring. If you're new here, introduce yourself below with: - Your Substack URL - Your niche - Whether you're free-only, paid, or selling products already - Your #1 monetization goal for the next 90 days - I’ll be in the comments.

Any Good Reads?
What's one book, podcast, or show that changed how you think? Mine is The One Thing by Gary Keller. The big takeaway for me was that there's always a long to-do list, but the move is to prioritize the things that make everything else easier or faster. To this day, I wake up every morning and pick one to three tasks that do exactly that. It basically helps me get out of my own way. What's yours? And what stayed with you from it?

@Paweł Bogucki that’s a good idea to reread it. I very rarely reread books, but I think I might pick up something new because I’m at a different stage in my life right now. And yes, the cover is beautiful on that Polish edition.

@Nic Frick Thank you for that recommendation. I will put it on the list.!
Have you created your Voiceprint yet?
I've been a little quiet this week because I spent the past four days in my lab, experimenting and advancing some of my existing AI techniques, systems and skills that will take content creation and marketing to the next level for content creators. I'm going to be teaching all of it in here as I perfect it, so stay tuned for more on that! What I want to know from you is you have built your AI Voiceprint yet? In case you missed, the instructions were in my Tuesday 9-To-Thrive newsletter. It's a two-part prompt that interviews you about how you write, what you believe, what you'd never say, and much more. Then it bottles all of that into one file you can hand to any AI. Once it reads your Voiceprint, everything you create with AI stops sounding like everyone else and starts sounding like you. That file is the foundation everything else I'm about to teach sits on top of. Build it now and you'll get way more out of what's coming. Grab the prompt shere: https://docs.google.com/document/d/19rYzwV-szhDmbOKqlVvlF8eZyo5HMiP159maY5Yru_c/edit So drop a comment and tell me: Have you made your Voiceprint yet? If you have, what's the one thing the AI got scary-right about you? If you haven't, what's stopping you? No wrong answer.

@Leanne Davidson that's a great idea and I can see the strategy and the case for building visibility. Starting a Substack is a great way to provide value to your audience and also gain new prospects for your offers. I'm looking forward to seeing what you build on Substack! Feel free to share and ask questions as you dive in.
