Hi my name is Carrie Jones. My husband is Ty, our 12yo daughter is Phoebe, and my husband’s Uncle Giles lives with us. Blueberry Felicia Nosy Rosie Jones, otherwise known as Bluey, is our 10 month old Cane Corso. She likes most women and certainly my husband and Uncle, but is all Jekyl and Hyde when it comes to Phoebe. She is usually fine with Phoebe: - in the house in the morning - If Phoebe was already in a room that Bluey walks into - In our truck - Outside By “fine” I mean that she will come up to Phoebe and ask to be petted or to play with her. However once it’s afternoon or later in our house, or if Phoebe dares to walk into a room where Bluey already is, Bluey will start to growl and lunge at Phoebe. This is our main goal - to get it to the point where Bluey is nice to her all the time. I should also mention that all of this behavior started around the same time that my husband had major foot surgery and had to be bedridden for 3.5 months. Now he’s up and hobbling around but the Bluey behaviors toward Phoebe continue. Bluey also does not like affection between any two family members and will try to come between any two people hugging. We need help! We are working on our Yeses with the kibble and very much looking forward to Bluey starting her “camp”.
