G'day Legend's Just a quick one. Have you ever been looking at things that inspire you to paint and so you screenshot it or download it and think I'm going to paint that when I get a chance. Only to come back a few days later to feel nuthnnnn! I mean you say to yourself, "What did I see in that?" Yet I bet if you grabbed the paints out the minute inspiration hit you at the time you would have turned a blank canvas into a masterpiece! I screenshot anything and everything to the point of clogging up my phone or Laptop with images that I will "come back to later" Which I hardly ever do! Take action. When I know I've got a morning to myself to paint grab out the phone scroll through Pinterest or whatever your favourite art platform is over a beverage and when inspiration hits, Go! Stop scrolling run to the studio and paint that thing! In your style of course he he. Heff.

Hello Legends! Just curious as to why? By that I mean why do you have a drive towards your art? what is it that's behind your motivation to create? Yes as artists we want to improve of course and see ourselves get better through practice etc but is it to just look at your art in your own home? To sell it and make a living from it? What is it that you want? Is it just the fact that it fulfills you? If you've ever experienced the ZONE.... you know what I mean. That place where time disappears and you're immersed in the painting. The flow the feeling the energy. Music in the background quietly playing or loudly. I love it when everyone's asleep and I'm in my little studio area painting away, can't beat that feeling. You and the canvas. What drives you to paint or create? I'd love to know and get the conversation going as this will be your grounding your why!

G'day Legends! Here's a painting I did last night instead of watching Netflix!. I was inspired and thought how could I use my art skills to bring more awareness to bitcoin? I love the old nostalgic art especially cartoon takes, like The Pink Panther and Precious Pup, Scrooge McDuck and of course the monopoly man but as there could be copywrite issues this guy is obviously a Bitcoin enthusiast and his name is Baron Bitcoin! I tried to get as many bitcoin terms and motifs or symbols in there as possible. Zoom in and tell me what I missed!

G'day Guys n Gals! I have this dilemma. I often ask myself this question. If I was the only human on earth but could do whatever I want. Would I still paint? There's a lot that goes into this question for me. Some would say yes it's all they would do. Which I get. Only other artists understand that feeling of electricity that comes when we nail an artwork. That flow state during the process where we totally disconnect from the world and engage with the project in front of us. Shading around the eye giving depth and symmetry then standing back and saying Whowa! I did it! that looks awesome. Now being a truckie for years and a chippie on site, I'm pretty rough around the edges but I do believe. So when I think about this question, Would I still paint being the only human on earth with no one else to see it? I then think of the scripture that says don't hide your light under a bushel for no one else to see. Out of context I know for he was talking about faith but I'm talkin about art... I'd love to here you take on this? Would you still paint if you were the only one to ever see it? For me it'd be yes. That feeling.... It's hard to describe but if you've ever had it....
