Tip Tuesday: Invisible Join
Tonight we covered the Invisible Join. This is an amazing technique to make your work look seamless and uniform. It is usable in the round for hats, motifs, appliquaes and arugimami. However, it is very versatile and can be used with granny squares and apparel.

@Roger Clements thank you, I've done some other things I just haven't taken any pics of them.
Do you use a stich counter?
We love and utilize Pocket Crochet App to help organize all our patterns and keep track of progress and stitch counts. This app is Free to use but you can pay for being able to back up and to sync across all your devices? Would anyone want a run down?

I do, but not for counting stitches for counting rows, I always forget how many rows I've done if I don't use one and it's easier then counting in a large project.

I tend to use it only for the basics and haven't explored it all as that's all I really need it for.
Crochet Journey
I previously had used my Chat GPT to make my experience of mastering the magic circle sound more exciting. However, seems that some feedback is to try not to do it as much. During my early years of crocheting I would just do long chains not being able to do much more in middle school. I would turn them into friendship bracelets or necklaces for people. Don't remember why I stopped but I didn't pick my hook back up till 2008 when I was expecting my first kid. I mastered things quickly but still had trouble with gauge, then one day it clicked and I have made every kid since a blanket and most of them have had one or more stuffies. Fast forwarding to today I have surpassed both my original teachers and I still work and improve techniques. About a year ago I registered for a class with the American Crochet Association for teaching crochet to others. I had been successful with teaching a few people and wanted to get it out there to even more people.

I have wondered about the American Crochet Association for teaching crochet, but being from the UK I wasn't sure whether it was a good idea or not.

I think for myself it would be good just to have that proof that I was qualified, but after years of teaching and crocheting I'm not sure if that is just me overthinking things. I tend to use both terms when I film a tutorial so that people don't get confused.
