Some of my friends who have communities here are feeling frustrated. And I think for some of them it's because of the approach We're used to platforms where the one with the courses is the sage on a stage, pulling focus towards themselves and whatever is there to learn. Skool is so different from the platform like teachable and so different from social media.Skool is Community first not classroom first When people come to your community they land on the community tab. Conversation is key. So for those only focusing on whatever you're teaching, it's just a very different way to grow. Some of what I do here has the person hosting is because of my own knowledge of the audience of empaths and highly sensitive leaders. Some comes from things I've learned from mentors I know that any of us who are taking this journey or doing it because we want to grow a thriving community and also to grow our prosperity at the same time. Every week, I get some requests to join the community that are obviously spam. Case in points: Somebody who says they teach people to do faceless YouTube channels. Does that honestly sound like somebody who's one of us? Absolutely not! And so I protect you as well as I can from things like this by manually approving new member requests. It may mean someone's excitement is damping for a little bit until they get approved, and it also means that some of these asinine spammers aren't going to be coming in here to bother us. This is a sanctuary space!
