Suno Big Announcement
Suno is about to watermark every song you generate, and I think it's a good thing. I know. Let me explain before you type. They announced it yesterday — inaudible audio watermarking and fingerprinting, tamper-resistant, readable by other platforms after you upload. Plus a new downloads policy built to stop people from mass-distributing to streaming services. Everybody's reading that as a crackdown on AI music. It isn't. It's a crackdown on VOLUME. Because right now, a producer who used one Suno pad in a real record gets treated exactly the same as a guy uploading 100 tracks a week to farm fractions of a cent. Same bucket. Same suspicion. Same reputation damage. A clean signal fixes that. Guessing doesn't. If you make records — actually finish them, mix them, put your decisions on top — you lost nothing yesterday. The watermark proves the tool was in the room. It doesn't say you weren't. The only people who should be sweating are the ones who were never making music. They were making inventory. So where do you land — is the watermark protecting producers, or is it a line Suno shouldn't have crossed?

Doesn’t matter to the ones who actually produce the music. Neither here, nor there. 😀 This is a great thing though! Less noise!!! More signal!!!
Generated Vs Guided Generations
Hot take: most people are using Suno AI backwards. They open it, type a prompt, and hope something good comes out. Sometimes it does. Usually it sounds like everyone else's AI track. This week I'm dropping a video that shows a different approach — one where you build something in your DAW first, then bring it to Suno. The difference in the output is wild. Dropping Friday. Drop a 👇 if you want the link when it's live.

Right. I’m actually considering cancelling my Suno studio. The stem separation just ain’t cutting it it for me.

@Darrell Fuller I had ACE last year. I’m considering renewing my subscription.
Studio Pro
So is this Studio Pro good enough to drop Suno?? I’m looking for a new workflow/process. And if I can do everything from Studio Pro, including scoring to video… that would be unbelievably amazing. 🤯 Doing some research now…

Tryina see if I’m going to resubscribe to Ace Studio… 🤔 I need to generate acoustic guitar tracks.
