Quick recap of where we've been the last three weeks. Episode 10 was Hook First, Story Fast. How to stop the scroll and hold someone for thirty seconds. Episode 11 was One Offer, Two Paths. Pick one thing to sell. Test it organically or test it with a small budget. Episode 12 was One Topic, Three Doors. The same person at three levels of awareness, and how to speak to each one. Here's what those three have in common. They all get somebody to raise their hand and click. None of them cover what happens next. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 Imagine you set up a lemonade stand in your own front yard. Your neighbors come out. Your friends stop by. Your mom's book club shows up. You sell forty cups on Saturday. That feels like proof. It looks like proof. Everybody is smiling and money is in the jar. Now picture moving that exact same stand to a busy street downtown. Same table, same sign, same lemonade, same price. Two hundred people walk past. Four stop. Nothing about the lemonade got worse. What changed is that nobody walking by knows you. Your neighbors weren't buying lemonade. They were buying from you. They already knew you were clean, that you were nice, that you'd make it right if it tasted bad. Strangers don't know any of that. They have to be told, on the spot, in the four seconds they're standing there. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 We took on a beautiful brand earlier this year. Great product. Beautiful packaging. A founder I genuinely like. Over ninety days we grew their traffic about 500%. We got their content past 80,000 views from almost nothing. Their conversion rate went down about 60%. So I split the traffic up to see who was actually buying. People who found them by searching Google were buying at about 5 out of every 100 visits. People who came from a social media ad were buying at less than 1 out of every 200 visits. Same product. Same price. Same page. Same week. The people who searched had already decided they wanted this kind of product. They just needed to pick a brand. Warm.
