Insecurity Mandate - Men's Changing Protector Role
This post is spurred in part by some conversation that came up in the UNRECORDED ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ–•๐Ÿ˜ญโ€ฆ Pleasure Break this afternoon... Sorry y'all โค๏ธ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ‘ It's also taken from one of my Substack posts a while back. Iโ€™ve been thinking about how many men were trained to protect by fixing, rescuing, controlling, or stepping in with aggression. ๐Ÿคบ๐Ÿฅท๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐ŸŒˆ But what happens when protection is no longer about saving someone from life? Maybe the deeper work now is learning how to hold a healthy container. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿซ™โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ To bring strength without domination. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Fire without damage. ๐Ÿค— Presence without control. ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ’ I donโ€™t think masculinity needs to disappear. I think it needs to mature. โ€ผ๏ธโ‰๏ธ So Iโ€™m curiousโ€ฆ these questions apply to men or women: ๐Ÿง ๐ŸŒˆ What does healthy protection look like to you now? ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‘ And where do you still feel the old training show up?

@James Humecky Yes provided that these ideals are lived out in everyday life, and that people who live these ideals are doing their best to become better each day, and not just pontificating

New old members - Welcome everyone - It's a party ๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ’–
So I started this community on August 22, 2025โ€ฆ So just about seven months ago. I had zero idea how to run this thing how it worked and what I needed to do to create engagement and aliveness on the community. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ™„โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿ’– I really started dropping in here about a month ago ๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ’– and figuring out this thing and one of the most engaging and educational communities I ran across is called Goosify (you can check it out at the link). ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ™„ Engagement is key here on this platform and recognizing, communicating, and reaching out to individual members and recognizing wins and desires is KEY!! and I wasn't doing that so a lot of early members just kind of got lost. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽญ I was a bad little monkey for sure - but not on purpose ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐ŸฆŠโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ Now I am recognizing them and saying "THANK YOU for your early commitment!" ๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ’– Listed in order of joining: @Margaret Barr @Leanne Rowell @Juan Wulff Salcedo @Shawn Tennant @Kelly Lytle @Lupe Valdez @Jordan Urbs (killer AI master - check him out) @Cecily Bee @Fanya Lewbin @Abi Dorhosti @Eric Stromberger @Mia Leighty @Doc M Since Jan. 1, 2026 @Erin Upchurch @Jon Carl Lewis @Rita Muckenhirn @Shekinah Fischer @David Bruce Leonard @Ruthy Glickfeld @Denis Fassero @Kimmy Albrecht Some of you I know very well and we actually have fairly regular communication outside of Skool. Some of you snuck in and I had not seen your names - and I am super sad about that.
