Such a content Sunday ✨️
Snowy walks with the dog and kids, lovely Sunday roast and nice chilled evening before work and school tomorrow... I am so excited to get back to routine as boring as that sounds... anyone else find routine therapeutic?

Sorry everyone i have only just downloaded the app so have only just seen your replies - I am also trying to be more present with whatever I am doing and less phone time this year. Hope everyone had a lovely week and an even better weekend 😘
What gets in the way of you achieving your goals?
What's good everyone? I hope you are all having a top Saturday and taking a step to being your best you - I appreciate this community, reading your posts, responses and support for each other is special to me!❤️💫. It is good to see you putting your goals and challenges out there. 🚀📈🏆 Before I write a post I like to have a read about what you guys are talking about! When writing my goals I found my motivation and ability achieve the goal isn't normally the reason they are challenging. The challenges come from the obstacles, habits and people in my environment, these were serious predictors of my outcome. When making changes and setting new goals have a think about what in your environment is making it harder for you to achieve the results you want and what does not making the change offer you! The enthusiasm and motivation is great in the beginning then I would fall off and not understand why! Identify and removing barriers will make achieving your goals much easier but you will face resistance, be prepared for this and this is ok. Here is an example - When I decided to go sober some of the reasons it would not happen was because of the environment's I would put myself in. Early in the week I would say I am not drinking and mean it, then Friday would come around and I would go out with the same people into the same environment and order the none alcoholic beers and drinks. This would become a taking point, I had to defend why I wasn't drinking and a massive fuss was made every time I said I no. I was the butt of jokes and because that was not the part of their plan as they did not want me to change, they wanted the version of me that suited them, my change impacted them too! (This is way you have to make the change for you, because it is your time and your journey!). My will power and reasons why would stand strong for most of it, my experience showed me that other forces were at play. As the night went on my social battery would drain rapidly as everyone got more pissed the conversation would deteriorate, the music would get louder, situations would get more awkward and it would feel SO OVERWHELMING!

100% myself... I procrastinate far to much and lose focus, distracted by the mundane tasks of life and the need to get everything done (kids, washing, cooking, cleaning etc) I focus on everyone else and ensuring their cup is full when I'm running on empty... this year I've promised myself that I'm going to take the time to focus on me.. and I have realised that's it not selfish to do that, it makes me a better, happier person all round :)
BIG GOALS!!
Yes guys!! So how did you find that exercise?? It feels good to take sometime for yourself right? 👀😅✍ I’ve loved reading all of your reflections and goals for the year…some big goals to be smashed which gets me hyped I can’t lie 😅🚀🎯 I went on a long walk earlier with Juno and I really did some major reflections on my goals for the New Year and this is where I got to: 😅🤷‍♂💭 I want to become a Sunday Times Best Selling author by the end of the year with my first ever Self Development Book. I really want to improve my focus and ability to be present this year even more than I have. So I want to take up some breathwork and meditation classes which I think will massively help. I want to bring back my podcast with my brothers and also bring back a new format of Learning As I Go the pod. I just love interviewing people and learning from them but I want to do something more creative and different. I want to meet my dream girl this year! I feel like I’m finally ready and this year it’s happening! Just you watch 😅❤ I want to buy my dream house by the end of the year with a large garden for Juno to run around. I want to take lessons in Padel and actually improve technically. I want to build this community to 10,000 members and help people unlock their true potential by providing valuable content! I also want to host my first ever Learning As I Go Wellness Event by the end of the year!

OK goals... what does everyone class as goals? This is what I plan to achieve in 2025 I will become qualified in accounting 7 out 16 exams left I will run my first half marathon in May and then hoping for a marathon by the end of the year (running is one of my happy places) But most importantly I will be more present, less screen/phone time when around my kids/partner/friends/family..more interactions. Hope everyone smashes their goals/achievements this year 🙏
