Today is #2 of me no longer being behind the chair and fully invested in being an educator and staying home with my kiddos and here’s what I realized!! I have a LAUNDRY list of things I want to accomplish in the next 3 weeks in preparation for baby so that I can fully enjoy that time off and I began to panic 😱 then realized ⬇️ This is the new to me. This is a new way of life and anytime you make a ch age, adjustments, life change it usually takes me about 1 week to fully acclimate, get things in order to create a flow and new schedule. I was behind the chair for 19 years and I had a flow - even the flow with my Little one and work for the past 3.5 but this is fully new to me so allowing myself time and grace. I’m still making moves and showing up but not beating myself up if something doesn’t happen and allowing that to help me create my new structure Win! πŸ₯‡

The request from me to you
First I want to thank you for you being here!! But here’s the thing I want more of you!! I want to get to know you, to help you, guide you and also grow with you!! This is a shared space not just for you but for me as well to grow as a stylist, friend and educator so when you have a minute please listen to the little recording and fill me in on what’s up for 2026 cause I would love to know!!

I joined the group to improve my cutting skills. I'm really so over trying to keep up with all of the colour trends. Plus doing 5 hour+ colors does my back in lol I've always loved cutting but never invested time in it, so it starts now. I'm also deleting a lot of hair accounts that I follow and just narrowing it down to a few that are cutting based ☺️

@Julie Facer Probably for me going back to some basics. I've been doing hair so long,.it's easy to forget some of the importany fundamentals. I love a good purge! It's great for the soul! I think muting for a while is great. We are all taught that the answers come in silence, that goes for Social media as well x
Tomorrow you choose what 2026 will be!
Learning more about yourself and what actually makes you tick, what your make up is is such a great way to begin to shift, to call in more and create momentum that is so aligned the clients can’t help but find you!! You have to choose - you have to choose to see new opportunities and shift the way you think. Tomorrow at 9am mst we will be doing a live call with @Candice Morris talking about astrology and how it can help you grow behind the chair!! She has room for one more volunteer if you are interested in having her dive into your chart - otherwise still join open your mind and heart to possibility and see what can happen for you!! If you want to be a volunteer you need to get Candice your birthday, birth time and birth location asap!! See you all tomorrow morning!! Link for call is in the calendar

@Andelyn Smith Feel free to send me your birth details in a private message or to Julie. I will need date, time and place of birth. The time needs to be as accurate as possible. Hope to see you there ☺️

And I can vouch for how much using other tools has helped me. Astrology has made me truly braver because I know myself better now. To change your mindset you have to understand yourself better 😊
Class requests
So I do quite a lot of people with really fine hair but I struggle to get them styled really nicely..so I would love a style class on fine hair for the stacked bob. Second thing I struggle with is really layered hair cuts and deep side partings. Anything to help with those, I'd be so grateful x

I do both really. Fine limp hair and peole with fine but really straight hair. With layered cuts it's the layering of the sides. As there is less hair, I sometimes end up with the sides looking too thin and also blending as well. And for side parts and I've added some images. I guess it's connecting the side part with the layers and making the front balanced.
