🙌 The Ten Lepers & Gratitude
The story of the ten lepers in Luke 17 is a powerful reminder of how important gratitude truly is. Ten were healed — but only one returned to thank Jesus. Here’s what this teaches us today: 1. Blessings are easy to receive, but gratitude is a choice. Many experience God’s goodness, but few pause to acknowledge Him. 2. A thankful heart stands out. The one who returned was noticed, honored, and remembered. 3. Gratitude brings us closer to God. The leper didn’t just receive healing — he received a deeper connection through his thankfulness. 4. Gratitude shifts our perspective. It helps us see not just what we have, but the One who provides. 5. Thanksgiving is an act of worship. When we give thanks, we give God glory. Let’s be like the one who returned — choosing gratitude, acknowledging God’s goodness, and keeping a thankful heart every day. 💛 What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?

I’m grateful for being alive and abiding in Him! I’m grateful for my children and grandchildren, for my church family. I’m grateful for what He’s doing in me and through me. I’m grateful that He is using me in whatever way He wants to use me and that HE equips me for it; it’s Not me, but Him working through me. I’m grateful for continued spiritual growth and maturity in Him!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Otherwise I’d still be stuck in my past, instead of moving forward. Thank YOU LORD, my El Shaddai and my Shalom Shalom!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
💛 Loving Difficult People 🙏
Loving others is easy when they’re kind, understanding, and gentle — but what about those who test our patience or hurt us? Jesus calls us to love even the difficult people, reminding us that true love is not based on how others treat us, but on how God loves us. 🌿 When we choose love over resentment, forgiveness over anger, and prayer over pride, we reflect Christ’s heart. Loving difficult people doesn’t mean approving their actions — it means seeing them through God’s eyes and allowing His grace to flow through us. ✨ Ask God today for strength to love the unlovable, patience to respond with kindness, and humility to extend grace as freely as He gives it to us. ❤️ 🕊️ “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” — Matthew 5:44

God knows that offenses can cause us to not only get mad or angry which in themselves can stir up words that are spoken in anger, and can then turn to hate, especially if it’s an on going thing. This is all because we’ve allowed the spirit of chaos to take control and run with it, bringing in the spirit of strife and division, and Lord knows, how many other demonic spirits, to kill our joy, steal our peace and destroy our relationships. When Jesus said that we are to forgive 70 times 7; This was His way of saying forgive always, because there’s no way someone is going to do something that needs forgiveness 490 times to you specifically in your lifetime. Here’s why, because at one point or another you need to make a decision for your own sanity and peace of mind, and that’s to detach yourself from that relationship, and love them from a distance. Forgiving them is for our inner peace, regardless if they feel or believe that they offended or hurt you. When we turn that anger and hate over to God and ask Him to forgive us for the feelings and thoughts those emotions caused and restore our peace and joy and help us to love them despite themselves; He will do it. The peace within of not feeling your blood boil at the sound of their voice or mention of their name is so much better. Besides, God wants us to pray for those that hurt us, not curse them. While cursing ourselves by allowing the enemy to use our mind and heart as his playground.
🙏 Intercessory Prayer: Standing in the Gap 🌿
Prayer is one of the greatest gifts we can offer — not just for ourselves, but for others. Intercessory prayer is an act of love and faith, where we “stand in the gap” and lift up the needs of others before God. 💖 When we pray for someone else, we become instruments of God’s mercy and compassion. Whether it’s a friend in pain, a family in need, or a nation seeking healing, our prayers have the power to move heaven and bring comfort to those who are hurting. 🌤️ In moments of prayer, we align our hearts with God’s heart — interceding not with our strength, but with His Spirit guiding us. It’s a reminder that even when we can’t physically help, we can always pray. 🙌 🕊️ “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land…” — Ezekiel 22:30 Let’s continue to stand in the gap — for our loved ones, our leaders, and our world. 💫

🌿 The Armor of God in Everyday Life
Family, today we step into a truth that is both ancient and fiercely relevant — the Armor of God. Not as a poetic symbol… not as a Sunday-school memory… but as a living strategy for victory in the battles we face every single day. We don’t fight with swords and shields anymore — but we do fight. We face doubt. Temptation. Fear. Weariness. Spiritual attacks we can’t always see — but always feel. And God, in His faithfulness, didn’t send us into this life unprotected. He clothed us in His armor. Let’s walk through it together today — not as a chapter in a book, but as breath in our lungs, strength in our bones, and hope in our spirit: ⚔️ The Belt of Truth The world throws half-truths, trends, and confusion at us constantly. But truth isn’t flexible — it’s anchored in Christ. Wrap yourself in truth by grounding your heart in Scripture before the world has the chance to shape your day. Every lie loses its power when you stand in God’s truth. 🛡️ The Breastplate of Righteousness This isn't about perfection — it’s about protection. Righteousness guards your heart — your desires, emotions, and motivations. When you choose integrity, purity, and obedience, you’re not “being strict”…You’re shielding your soul. Holiness isn’t restriction — it’s armor. 👟 Feet Fitted With the Gospel of Peace You don’t just carry peace — you walk in it. Imagine if every room you entered today felt calmer because you were there. That’s not ego — that’s the Holy Spirit at work in you. Where others panic, you plant your feet in holy peace and move with purpose. Peace is not passive — it’s powerful. 🛡️ The Shield of Faith When doubt, anxiety, or discouragement fly at you like fiery arrows — lift your shield. Faith doesn’t mean we never feel afraid. It means we trust God even in the fire. Faith doesn’t just block attacks — it extinguishes them. 🪖 The Helmet of Salvation Guard your mind. The enemy loves to whisper lies —“You’re not enough.” “You messed up too much.” “You’re alone.” Your salvation is proof of God’s love, your identity, and your destiny.

For me this has become a daily thing. Just like soldiers in a military battlefield cannot afford to go into war without a part of their battle gear, in the natural realm; WE CANNOT AFFORD to fight without the Armor of GOD either. We need to know and understand what it’s for and why it’s important to pray it on, so that we are protected. Every piece is necessary, needs to be put on, and take ahold of our shield and sword and learn to use them. The Sword of the Spirit is God’s Word, we MUST Know it like the back of hand as much as possible. Reading it Daily, Not only on Sunday morning from the screen at church whilst he pastor or someone else read’s it. Scripture tells us we need to be equipped. Let me remind us that Satan, he knows the Bible and use it to twist God’s Word and that’s how we fall. When we allow him to cause us to doubt God. Otherwise we’ll be like David when Saul tried to let him use his. It needs to be fitted to you. Thank God, David trusted in God to fight for him and aim the stone to strike where it needed too. BUT LATER, David was not only a powerful man of God, he became a mighty warrior. So mighty that he killed more than Saul ever did. BUT STILL trusted in the LORD, Not in his own strength. Understand that through Christ Jesus, we are seated in heavenly places, according to Ephesians 2:4-10. This is where we battle against our greatest enemy and where his warriors come to battle to gain territory not only in our own lives, but in the lives our children and grandchildren. Thank you Jillian for the reminder. May the LORD continue to bless you and your fa.🙏🏼 May He continue to bless each and everyone on this platform, in Jesus matchless and mighty name, Amen
🤔 I Just Don’t Understand Why…
There are things in this world that make us stop and think:“Why is this even a thing?” Sometimes it’s silly. Sometimes it’s heartbreaking. Sometimes it’s just… puzzling. Here’s the deeper truth: There is a reason for everything. God gave us free will—He doesn’t force us to follow Him. Every choice we make has a cause and effect. And those choices? They create ripple effects—impacting not only us, but the people and situations around us. Most of us never pause to trace things back to the root… but that’s where the understanding often lies. What’s one thing in the world that makes you say: “I just don’t understand why this exists.” It can be: - Something funny 😂 - Something confusing 🤨 - Something serious that makes your heart ache 💔 Let’s open up a conversation—both lighthearted and deep.Who knows? Someone else’s perspective might just open your eyes to the why behind it. 👇 Share yours below—and feel free to reply to others to keep the discussion going!

@Cindy Moyers it’s easier to provide for those in natural disaster’s. Those that have been through flood’s, need to boil water, because sewage among other things get mixed in with the water that is for consumption.Plus it’s hard if the people are displaced, having lost everything. And different scenarios that just make it easier to hand out bottled water, then jugs of water and only be able to give the a small cup of water. Which also becomes waste.🤷🏻‍♀️

@Deborah Ackerman Yes, it can be hard not knowing. I’ve been serving the Lord in ministries at my church that I’ve been asked to become a part of, and some how the Lord has moved them to ask me to become more within the ministry. It’s a good size church and there are many others more qualified than me. But God’s word teach us that He qualifies those He wants to serve HIM! We just need to Say Yes LORD, Here I am, use me! My prayers always include the ones that need caregivers to do everything they need with compassion and empathy knowing that could be them; and also those who are struggling to put food on their table or are homeless because they’ve just gone through hard times and now the whole family is suffering and even those that are homeless of their own choosing for various reasons. I Say all that to say… on May 16, my daughter and were headed to Yukon Oklahoma, for my granddaughter’s high school graduation. 30 minutes away from my son’s home, traffic came to a halt on I-35 going East. We were on the fast lane. A car seeing the traffic slow moved out and into the fast lane. Was not paying attention and hit us at full speed. Brakes were never used. Rear ended us sent our vehicle into the car in front of us. My daughter’s car was totaled. The guy’s car was totaled, the lady in front had serious damage. But by the GRACE AND MERCY of GOD! We walked out of that collision on our own two feet. I had a broken wrist, hitting the airbag. Every single airbag was set off from the windshield, all the side windows and rear window of that Durango. My daughter’s driver’s seat broke. She was laying down after the final impact. My seat moved back and forth and slam the back of my leg really hard. I had excruciating pain for at least a 3-4 days, and the dark bruising wrapped around my calve. The huge hard knot on it lasted a really long time, it’s all gone now; But my calve still feels numb. After the accident I asked the LIRD, Why? Why me? I’m going to be partially handicapped, I can’t do this with one hand.
