Universal CNC table
@Grant Pratt Do you have any experience mounting toolheads onto the CNC gantry that arent plasma cutters? My idea is to attach some kind of blade, or maybe even diode laser, to quickly cut..... cardboard! Cardboard can help create prototypes very quickly and affordably. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for large rapid prototyping that doesnt break the bank.

@Grant Pratt Thats a great practical solution. I could easily program a z hop for dashed bend lines too. Hopefully I can get to building myself a table in the next year or so. Please stay active in here long enough for me to get going 🙏

If you need anything reach out to me and let me know what you’re looking for and i’ll see if I can get you a deal. I can get better prices than any seller online can. @Grant Pratt This is great to know. Can you give a supplier list? Are these mostly race car parts or off road parts?

Long time no see to y’all!
Just finished up a temporary hood dump for my prelude, not too bad for being rusty and using cheap stainless! Welder set at 80, using a pedal, 1/16 red tungsten, size 14 cup at ~25 cfh

Tequila Display
Looking for a little advise on material thickness. I would like to build this display to go on top of my bar cabinet. I will be using 1 in sq tubing mild steel, might order it pickled if not too much more $$$ but struggling with thickness for 2 reasons, weight and cost. This will be a Tig project as my mig will not see this. 😁. Let me know your thoughts on material thickness, tungsten color and size, cup type and size, and amps please. Thank you

Go as thin as you can without blowing holes through it. The material will be way strong enough to support a few liquor bottles
