I am trying to pour bell bronze flat, about 5mm thick in the centre. What would I need to achieve this? I have tried a few things so far, all I can come up with is a steel bottom plate, with a 5mm edge all the way round, then a steel top plate that I lower onto it while still hot. But that requires a rather large investment, just wondering if there would be a budget friendly way.
