I don’t know what the grey loop is nor what to do about it. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hi all, the sun is shining in the uk today but not expecting it to last sadly. So, I decided to have a shot at the Celtic Scarf, to be honest apart from hats this is my first project following a video from the free patterns (thank you) and also the first non cinched item so I had to have a few goes at getting the spare yarn cast on and off right, but with the help of other videos in the classroom I believe I’ve mastered it. Here you can see my attempt, although the opening doesn’t seem big enough it does go over head with ease. Please feel free to give feedback back.

So my partner requested I make his dad, step mum and sister a had and scarf for Xmas. Now I didn't want to just do a whip it up fast hat with the geocci I wanted more love into the gifts, so I'm doing my first ever trailing ivory beanie, this one's for my sister in law, its in glittery grey! So stunning in person. I will then make a pom pom scarf to match. Let's hope I get the beanie tube done at least tonight! Who has done trailing ivory hats before ? I'd love to see them!
