Reminder to make one step at a time
I was just reminded by a community leader in another group I’m a part of that no everything on a certain project has to be done all at once. We have a super power with ADHD brains to hyper focus and get things done at an incredible speed with incredible results 😅 But also, when scaling something, like a business😉, we don’t have to have everything in place AT THE LAUNCH. It can and will come incrementally, we will see our systems grow, and we will see ourselves grow. So what’s that thing you want to start doing but don’t feel ready to start yet? Post it below 👇 I’ll start: Starting my own Skool community for unicyclists! Boom! 😅 and building my business website to optimize AEO (just learned about this lol)

Learning to Celebrate ALL Victories
I know this has been something of a focus in this group, to celebrate all the victories no matter how small, no matter if they were in our planned list or not 😂 Just ran into this video during go my own doom scrolling 🫣😂 (link below) And it really emphasizes what and how we can still be proud of a perceived “wasted day” For a long time now when working on a list of to-dos; I already KNOW that I will do a whole lot of things NOT on the original list 😂 So when I do those “extra things” I’ll write them down and cross them off😆 Helps me feel a lot better about myself 😂 What tactics do yall use to remind yourself of a job well done when it doesn’t feel like it was? Here’s the video: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1DVdLNWoqU/?mibextid=wwXIfr

@Sebastian Schroeder Same! And for the longest time I thought I would hate audiobooks, but I just started listening to a couple this past year. And wow, it's actually pretty nice 😂

@Verena Venus That's absolutely brilliant! Honestly that's kinda the mindset behind a tracker app I made myself a couple months ago. But it has multiple different areas of life, and for each area of life I choose one or two top priorities for that day, week, and month, all leading up to hit my overall yearly goals.

This space exists for curious minds, overworked nervous systems, big ideas, and gloriously unfinished thoughts. Your hyperfixations and half baked projects are welcome here. Your “I swear this made sense five minutes ago” moments are right at home and you belong here, with us. We do real before impressive. Regulation before productivity. Awareness before forcing ourselves to show up. This is not a place to “fix” your ADHD. It’s a place to celebrate your brain and give it a raise rather than wrestling it into submission. You are exactly where you are meant to be: @Alvaro O @Bast Zz @Amelia Rose @Amy Thompson @Charlotte Williams @Curtis Banas @Tarra Nguyen A few gentle ways to get oriented (pick one, none, all of them, or circle back later): ✍️ Introduce yourself — messy version encouraged. Tell us who you are and one thing your brain is currently mulling over like its the biggest event in the world to you. 📞Schedule A clarity call with a master avatar @Bill Widmer here 👀 Peek at the calendar so future-you doesn’t miss something future-you would actually enjoy. 📚 Browse the classroom/resources for tools that work in real life, not just on perfect days. 💬 Say hi in the comments, or just lurk.... lurking is also a valid life choice. ADHD Things
Anyone else feel like some days they need someone to just follow them around body doubling all day to get things done? No? Just me? 🤔

I did not understand what body doubling was for a long time. And now, it would be great to have it almost everyday 😂 In a way, this community gives a virtual body double experience. Everytime after I participate here I want to go be more productive in my work😅
🌿 Mindful Mondays
Pause + Breathe Take one slow breath before answering. No fixing. Just noticing. 1️⃣ Name What’s Real What’s honestly present for you right now as you start the week?(A word, a sentence, or “unclear” all count.) What's real for me right now is love for myself, I feel motivated to journal more and have been for the past few days. Finding a nice flow with that is helping to keep my mind clear of worry and doubt. I am able to reframe things easier in ways that leave me feeling uplifted and calm. 2️⃣ Let It Go — or Let It Be What’s one thing you’re releasing pressure around, or allowing to exist without fixing this week? Releasing an tension I have about going to events. I really want to go to a bunch this week AND focusing on that isn't what my highest priority get's to be. There are other things that deserve my attention and so I am blessed with softening around any sensation pulling me to go have fun in this way. 3️⃣ One Small Anchor What’s one simple thing you can return to when you feel scattered this week?(A habit, phrase, place, rule, or reminder.) My breath! Specifically toning has been suuuch a grounding experience for me. This and journaling are the newest, most powerful themes in my life right now.

Oooo what a great and powerful weekly and even daily practice! Definitely gonna screen shot the questions and find a way to at least add it to my weekly planning routine 😅 1️⃣ what’s real for me right now is I felt really productive yesterday, and today I’m just trying to not fall behind 🙃 2️⃣my classes this semester aren’t actually that stressful, at least not yet. So for this week I feel like I don’t need to stress over them as much. Allow myself more time in other areas of life. Maybe to work on my creative ideas. 3️⃣ music has always been extremely grounding for me! A few months ago I found a couple albums of bilateral stimulating music. That is very helpful. Also just calm piano or orchestral music. No lyrics usually help more. Depending on the situation 😅
