What do you stand for?
In order to stand out, you first have to know what you stand for. Everyone wants to differentiate. Different brand. Different voice. Different lane. But here’s the HuRU truth 👇 You don’t stand out by being louder. You stand out by being clear. HuRU has always been about two things: Hu U R What U Do And most people skip straight to the second one. They talk about: 🔹titles 🔸offers 🔹tactics 🔸platforms …but they haven’t taken the time to define: 🔹what they believe 🔸what they won’t compromise on 🔹what matters enough to say “no” to other things If you don’t know what you stand for, you’ll chase what’s popular. You’ll borrow other people’s language. You’ll blend in while trying not to. But when you’re clear on Hu U R: 🔸your decisions get simpler 🔹your message gets sharper 🔸your people find you faster Standing out isn’t a marketing trick. It's an identity decision. 🎤 HuRU mic drop: Clarity creates confidence. Confidence creates consistency. Consistency creates distinction. HuRU Crew — your turn: 👉 What’s ONE thing you stand for that you’re no longer willing to dilute, hide, or apologize for? Drop it below. Let’s get real. And BTW... @Life Coach Rob and I talked about some of this on our Success Saturday call today. If you're not part of RECREATE we'd love to have you. We do the Success Saturday call twice a month.

Let’s talk about fulfillment.
The other day I was asked why my word for 2026 is FULFILLMENT So let's talk about it... Here's what fulfillment is not: Not the highlight reel. Not the checklist. Not the “I did the thing” moment. Achievement isn’t that hard. We achieve stuff all the time. We hit goals. We close deals. We finish projects. We stay busy. But fulfillment is different. Fulfillment is deeper. Less about what you did and more about who you’re becoming while doing it. It shows up when your work feels aligned. When your business actually reflects your values. When your relationships energize instead of drain you. When your hobbies aren’t just escapes, but expressions of who you are. Here’s the truth we don’t say enough: When we say “I want to accomplish this” or “I’ll be happy when...” What we’re really saying is: “I want to feel fulfilled.” Achievement is external. Fulfillment is internal. One can be measured. The other has to be felt. And the wild part is... You can achieve a LOT... and still feel empty. But when you’re fulfilled, achievement becomes a byproduct—not the point. HuRU Crew question to sit with (no need to answer publicly): 👉 Where are you chasing achievement, when what you really want is fulfillment? Because doing more isn’t the answer. Living more aligned might be. 🧡💙
Let’s talk about fulfillment.

HuRU Crew Check-In 🧠⚡
Alright HuRU Humans... let’s take a pulse. We’re officially halfway through January 2026. The holidays are DONE. This is our third weekend of the month. And 2026 even hooked us up with 5 weekends to get our act together. 🙌 Oh... and “Quitting Day” was yesterday —You know the one. The day where New Year’s resolutions quietly slip out the back door and hope no one notices. 😬🚪 So... where are you really right now? How’s your: 👉 Mindset? 🧠 👉 Energy? ⚡ 👉 Resolve? 🔥 No judgment. No fixing. Just a check-in. Drop some emojis or even better a GIF that best describes how you’re doing at this exact moment 👇 (Extra credit if you tell us why 😏)

Old Skool Music
This one is mostly for the Gen Xers here in the Crew... but anyone can play along. The image below is of 90 different albums (cassettes) from back in the day. Here's the challenge... How many of these albums did you once own? Rules: (1) Had to be the album not just the single (2) Had to be on LP, Cassette or even 8 Track...but NO CD's Ready, Set, Let's Rock!! (you'll probably need to download the image to enlarge it)

Get Out of the "Meh"
We all like to think we’re cool, calm, and unbothered. And then... something actually matters. Cue the emotions. When you care — about people, ideas, goals — you risk feeling exposed. You want connection, but not the awkward part. Confidence, but not the second-guessing. Approval would be nice... criticism, not so much. But here’s the HuRU truth: If you’re feeling it, you’re probably doing something worth doing. Growth doesn’t happen in the “meh.” It happens when you lean in, get a little uncomfortable, and realize the messy middle is where the good stuff lives. So if things feel a little loud, tender, or weird right now, congrats! You’re human. And you’re in the game. Quick HuRU poll (no overthinking): Right now, how are you feeling... 🔹🔹 🔹 🔹 🔹 Vote, comment, or ignore all rules and do your own thing. (That’s very on-brand after all. 😁)
