Difficult-Easy
Most people think they're working hard on their health. They are. But in the wrong direction. There's a concept I keep coming back to called ''difficult-easy''. Difficult-easy is the stuff we do that’s stressful, challenging, and/or irritating… but familiar. It’s our daily grind, or the pain that we recognize. Here's what difficult-easy looks like for most people trying to lose weight: ❌ being “busy” ❌ starting yet another diet ❌ rushing, feeling frazzled, and over-booking their schedule ❌ feeling “pulled” or scattered with lots of demands and distractions ❌ feeling guilty, angry, and/or embarrassed about “failing” or “screwing up” ❌ beating themselves up with epic workouts ❌ self-criticism Sound familiar? The problem isn't that you're not trying. The problem is that all that effort is going into things that drain your tank without moving you forward. And the longer you stay on that hamster wheel, the more exhausted and discouraged you get. The good news? There's a way off it. But first, I want to know where you are right now. Which of these is your biggest difficult-easy? 👇

@Graham Phillips What's a bigger issue, controlling yourself when to stop or not knowing how much food to prepare?
Make Time, and Take Action 💪
When members start their journey in this community, they're given one of two tasks as their daily practice: - Make time: Book an appointment with yourself to review the material, get some movement, and otherwise do what needs to be done. - Take a 5-minute action: Do a very small action today that moves you towards your goals. Sometimes, people are surprised. Why aren't we talking about food yet? Where's my meal plan? Where's the "next level nutrition secret"? Often, they're relieved. Phew, I only have to focus on one small thing right now. Honestly, I don't think I could cram any more into my crazy life anyway. Every time in the past I've gone all-in on something, I've crashed soon after. As they practice these tasks, they start to see: These are the tasks that make everything else possible. That's why I'm suggesting you start here too. https://www.skool.com/beyond-weight-loss-7893/classroom/479235c9?md=2250f106ee4441878a4aab32b96507b5

There Are No Quick Fixes. ❌
What matters far more is taking the time to gradually change your lifestyle. Otherwise you get caught in a vicious cycle: lose weight → gain it back → lose it → gain it back 😤 And before you know it, you're worse off than when you started, both physically and mentally. Choose a different approach instead: small, sustainable changes over a longer period of time. That's how you build habits that stick, and create a lifestyle that supports you for the long run. 💪
