If you notice your song performing well on platforms such as Boomplay, which is Africa-focused, there may be potential to grow an African fanbase. Another interesting thing is that streaming platforms like Audiomack & Boomplay have more promotion opportunities since they allow you to pay for pop up notifications, in-app banners & trending features.
