Hey Beau! and Everyone! What an exciting community, and what an exciting last few weeks/month or so since I took the plunge into openclaw! I've been a web dev for 20 years and in the ai agency space for the last few, but I gotta tell you this is a whole new world that brought the spark back for me! honestly, I haven't been this excited to build and do whatever I want pretty much in years! when I was in college for web dev and interactive media, I was really a video guy motion graphics for sports team in high school was my jam and the web dev and interactive media was the only major at AI the art institute of california san diego that had any after effects and motion graphics, I tried animation but it was A LOT of 2d drawing before we could even touch Maya. but anyways the iphone came out and sort of shifted my major into apps and everyone and their brother had an idea. Turns out all of those ideas required about 5-10 mil and a team of 6 experienced devs. discouraging. BUT NOW..... its like whatever you can think of, AND you dont even need to go through the hours of learning code like I did! haha Im not bitter lol. Naw, technology is awesome and it only helps when it becomes more wide spread. I remember when IG came out, I was pissed and rebelled because I took so many classes mastering the 'art of photography' haha I've since learned that, that is NOT the move or way to think about tech. It always gets better and easier and more usable for non tech nerds like me. and thats good! Sooo, this openclaw, claudecode world right now only really takes so will to get into it, minor tech skills, but in literally 6 months it will be like using a phone to the average person. lol maybe thats a lil hyperbolic, but thats how it happens. So, everyone in here, enjoy the process. we get to learn how this stuff works before its just like a button or a voice command does everything in one shot. anyways I'm pumped to be here, I really hope that the content generator helps me out as I've never really grown an adieance before and this automation seem right up my ally. I think its important because I have all this ideas and projects that have been on partical hold because somewhere down the line I realized I could not complete all these side projects and run 2 agencies and a POD ecom store as a mere human. Now, I am starting to get the systems in place to see that its actually possible if you have 20 agents under you and you tell them 'nobody idles until we hit our goals' haha something you could never really tell my VAs in the philipeens and certainly NOBODY in the states. So, its pretty damn cool to be alive right now in this period of humanity/technology and the world. I hope to meet some awesome people here, and I just realized I'm writing all of this in a thread nobody will read so if I want to meet people I should probably repost it in the main thing, I hope nobody minds. I'm just excited to get my spark and love for building cool stuff back and I very much credit @buildinpublic and people like Alex Finn, etc for going so hard with the content that its impossible to get on my YT without getting blasted with exciting news! So thank you! hope to make it to one of these workshops soon!
