Many people always wanted to try sailing but felt afraid. We take the fear and replace it with fun and confidence by teaching the basics of sailing.

Learning new skills
Life is full of challenges. Keep on moving forward one step at a time. Remember when you crawled across the floor wishing to walk like all the others? Well what happened, you met and achieved that challenge. Sailing is no different and you can learn the skills needed. Like

winter gives us time to catch up on boat work and improving our systems. Don't forget to do the important off season work that happen between your ears. Recall each race, each win each loss and take away one part that would give just a little bump in performance. You will be amazed how much you've improved come next season.

I try best I can to provide as much information as I can gather about the boat they are thinking about. When dealing with a brokerage we explain that any offer is confidential and they (buyer) are the ones that set the conditions. It's the safety valve for the buyer of
Sailboat Market
Have you been following the Sailboat market lately. There seems a trend downward. Good for buyers but not good for sellers. The limited supply of moorage and the changing economy seems to be the governing reasons. The trend for young buyers to watch their disposable $$'s becoming harder to save. The costs of Yacht Cubs is another factor. I have seen our club having fewer younger member joining the boating fraternity is on a steady decline.

As a broker myself I have seen so many ups and downs over the years. Times like COVID when we sold a boat every 15 min. To post COVID when people had other things they could do (Travel..) they wanted to sell the boats they bought during the pandemic, however they paid an inflated price which the market would not support. Now we are looking at extraordinary difficult financial times. Remember people buy boat with fun money, disposable income. Until the global economy settles down I feel we are in for some teough times in the used boating market.
