The three financial statements each tell a different story. Which one has been the hardest for you to understand?

I'm a visual and hands on learner. I took a few minutes to look at the difference between P&L statement, cash flow, and balance sheet. I would agree with most people that the cash flow statement is the most confusing.

I am currently I investigate abuse and theft allegations for people with disabilities. I have a friend who is a bookkeeper and she has a lot of time freedom, which is enticing for me. I have a school background for accounting level 1 and 2, and I did well in those classes. I tend to understand accounting. However I could use a refresher course. I have used QuickBooks online for some auditing, but I'm not familiar with how it gets used. But I'm tech friendly, so there is no reason I couldn't learn. In 6 months, I want to have the confidence to contact local business to pitch them to idea of me being their bookkeeper. Sales is not the issue for me, more than having the confidence to speak and understand the language. To get there, I will watch these videos, complete the homework, and introduce QuickBooks once I get a good understanding of the accounting aspect...or the base so to speak.
