Focus contract ✅
I loved the Focus Framework. (Thanks @Ali Raza for recommending that I take this one first) Learned a lot! But the biggest thing I learned? “It takes an average of 23 minutes to fully resume after an interruption.” At first, I didn't believe it. 23 minutes? That's impossible. But when I tried to recall the moments when I was distracted… I suddenly realized it's scary accurate—in a very subtle way. Like that time I was creating a content strategy for my business when my sister messaged me asking what gift I wanted for Christmas. I told her I hadn't thought about it yet. But I got excited. And five minutes later, I was searching the internet for books. Then I got hungry, so I checked the fridge... then decided I'd make coffee instead. Guess what? I didn't have sugar. So I ended up going to the supermarket. That slight distraction (not my sister's fault) cost me 2 hours. Yes, "23 minutes average" might not be true every time. But it's true most of the time. Most of the time, you don't realize you're distracted until you're already off track. It reminds me of the 1-degree shift principle: "If a plane taking off from Los Angeles to New York adjusts its heading by just 1 degree at takeoff, it will end up roughly 150 miles off course." That's why this lesson is so important. When we get interrupted, our thought patterns change. Then our actions follow. Unfortunately, distractions are inevitable—whether they're external (a phone notification) or internal (hunger or fatigue). They will always come, one way or another. The Focus Framework taught me three things: how to eliminate distractions before they occur, how to minimize the damage when they do, and how to recover quickly. As Jon Kabat-Zinn puts it, "You cannot stop the waves, but you can learn to surf."

@Cris Bell Yeah, I've noticed that too—and it's not just in school, it happens in the workplace as well. There's actually research showing that 4 hours of focused work can be more productive than 8 hours of unfocused work. So, I deffo agree with you. Focused attention can help us improve results. Also, I've found that I'm way less tired after focused work compared to when I'm multitasking or distracted. So deep focus not only cuts time in half...it also saves energy.

@Christina Hooper, I wanted to say the phone or internet but the truth is it's my monkey mind. Especially those "random" things or ideas that pop up in my head that I "need" to do. For some reason, I easily remember them when I'm doing important stuff. But when I'm free and ready to tackle random stuff, it's hard to recall them all. 😂 Having a notepad beside my keyboard helps.

Work - Reviewed one of our ecom clients' email marketing data and found that over the past 3 months, we increased their revenue by 412% (vs. previous year) through email alone. This is partly because of the emails (great subject lines, copy, and design) but mostly because they have an awesome engaged list—meaning that even with mediocre copy, their products would still sell. The money is in the list! Personal - Pretty much all my containers this week were ruined by unexpected things and distractions. But I was able to hit a 30-day streak on one (daily meditation), which hasn't happened since 2019 lol. So I feel good about that. Biz - Almost done with the email marketing playbook I'm creating. I thought it would take months to finish, but it took much less time than expected. I blame the power of focus.

The 5 Levels of Entrepreneurship Framework ✅
Done with the 5 Levels of Entrepreneurship Framework! So many things I learned from this, it's hard to choose one. From getting clarity on what I really want (not just what I thought I wanted), knowing what steps to take to reach each level, down to exactly how I'll execute them. But I think the most important thing that I learned and really liked about this is that Kasim revealed the entire entrepreneur's journey in detail. It's a freaking cheat code. It reminds me of "Black Sheep Wall", my favorite StarCraft cheat code. (StarCraft was a super famous real-time strategy game back in the 90s. You build stuff, make armies, and battle it out—sometimes as humans, sometimes as aliens, sometimes as space bugs with anger issues.) The game had plenty of cheat codes—instant resources, invincibility, lightning-fast building. But Black Sheep Wall was different. It reveals the entire map. It allows you to see where your enemies are hiding, plan when to attack or defend, and find resources to build your base easily. No more stumbling around in the dark. The 5 Levels of Framework of Entrepreneurship is kind of the same. It helps me take a peek at the possible challenges I might face, so I can be better equipped to handle them if and when they come. And it shows me what the terrain looks like, so I don't spend my time wandering aimlessly, taking actions that lead nowhere. But just like Black Sheep Wall, knowing the map doesn't guarantee success. I still need to walk the path. Still need to build. Still need to fight the battles. But knowing what lies ahead is already enough to make sure I have a plan and am prepared… so I know what's coming and what it takes to win. In the words of Miguel de Cervantes, "To be prepared is half the victory."

@Rahul Singhal, congrats on creating that mini-project. As someone who does email marketing, that can be tough and brain-draining (involves a ton of research and deep knowledge about your product/brand/competitors). Hope it goes well. Curious about the internal power struggle you mentioned. Are you struggling with letting go / giving up control or is it purely semantics-related, like you don't the term itself?

I agree with @Gina Arroyo. It's actually hard to do, especially if you know what you're doing–you'll have certain expectations about how things should be done. I've managed a team before, and I noticed that when I delegated tasks to my graphic designer, I wasn't as worried as when I delegated tasks to my writers. (Probably because I knew more about writing than designing at the time.) DIY is definitely a short-term game. But it's a part of it, especially when we're just starting. Delegating is a skill - you'll get better at it for sure!

Hi I’m Heather! I´m new here. Freedom and Connection are my power words for the year, and my life. And I want to live this growth in my business with others who know the same. I just did the AEO Certification and some Perry Belcher Ignite dabbling, and my favorite part was hearing and feeling Kasim´s insights on those calls (nothing brown on my nose, that is just how it is! and that’s how I found my way to 3X Freedom). In full human mode, I’m going to just freeform these answers to Kasim´s introduce yourself questions, (almost) unedited, no AI, friends… What makes me AWESOME is my clear vision for optimizing anything and leveraging output in many different directions. It’s my drive to see, listen deeply to, and help purpose-driven service-based entrepreneurs, especially in the helping professions. I can see from miles away the value in another’s offering and a totally reasonable clear goal they can absolutely meet, and how! I can communicate in one session an entire business plan, marketing strategy, and first steps. My experience and success are deep and wide, and I am a raging river of creative and tried and true strategies (see related needs/challenges below!). 2026 SMART GOALS: Serve 1000 paying clients and students 1% in Q1 10% in Q2 35% in Q3 54% in Q4 >30 1:1 clients >50 done for you clients >300 active in my community In 2026 I will relaunch my private consulting and teaching business, and agency for a global market (previously operated only in Chile with a smattering of U.S. and European clients from referral). The focus is connection-based messaging frameworks, optimized site and social content, with DIY analog and customized AI bot versions - for female helping professionals. I will give 1:1 and group coaching through my system and sell full done-for-you packages using a small mass of VAs and developers (see needs below!!). As a 20+ year expert in SEO and now AEO since early 2025, I also offer stand-alone AEO strategy packages to a wider range of clients - will grow this as partnership unfolds (looking for sales and fulfillment partners now - DM me if interested). I see this as a lucrative side gig mostly for the fun of it because SEO and AEO are my current obsessive jam!
