E-commerce Campaign for 'Always New SKUs'
Hey folks, hope you're having a nice week. I'm trying to get some thoughts here on a specific type of customer. It's a very small LP (vinyl) shop, with very limited budget, and a growing number of SKUs (approaching 400-600 LPs available). My challenge relies on the fact that we never know which SKU will be available on the shop. The owner basically buys individual LPs from small sellers and the vast majority of time, it will only have 1 piece of stock per SKU. With that on mind, I wonder how google uses its machine learning on conversions cause the product is always new (there's like 2 products with more than 1 sale over a year), and if a maximize conversion/conversion value is indeed a good strategy for this type of business model. I had this client starting with a pmax (around 10 months ago), using their total feed, maximizing conversion, but I'm inclining myself to move to a Shopping Campaign after running Mike Rhodes script to discover that conversion value is mainly on Shopping ads. The active campaign has ups and downs. Since the catalog has been growing, and the budget is very small, I'll probably limit the number of SKUs available in that campaign, but i'm wondering about smart bidding strategy in this scenario. I appreciate any feedback and discussion! Cheers,
