Is one of the best feelings a mentor can imagine. I've been watching- somewhat from afar - these past couple of years. I have witnessed quite a few of my students move into some pretty inspiring roles. They may begin as actor, director, film maker, dancer... etc.. And they find their medium from that launching pad. Their through-line has remained constant- the mechanisms (tools) may change or evolve. When you see them walking their journey... as I have done, have witnessed the magic of "knowing"- a finding their way into that feeling of orchestrating- Each one of them have had one major thing in common. They are IMAGINATIVE and that imagination is filled with passion and integrity. I was reading through some posts this morning and saw Blair James and she was quoted in #VanityFair and here is her quote. This is the magic. I am so very proud of her. I have been an observer and interpreter of the human experience. Ive executed through story, film, theater, television, poetry, song, novellas, and public speaking, hosting events, creating my own podcasts and joining others. These are all mediums along the way that bring people together, to be in community. To empower and inspire. To be source for JOY. I love teaching actors, story- narrative , camera-technique, scene and script analysis. I love being on a stage or on any set. I've always wanted to something even bigger with the knowledge that I have gained over time. The wisdom I have acquired by living a very full high stake life. I've wanted to teach others that same thing. How to be in their power, know in confidence their story. I've always said- and it remains to be true that - if you come to be to wanting to be an actor, or successful in entertainment, or or an affective leader. - What you end up learning is the barriors and blocks that you put in the way to that talent. Most often unseen or unrealized. While I love teaching artists (primarily in entertainment) - I've always wanted to take the curriculum that actors learn and share it with the world. The super-human power of the artist is within everyone. This is the through line- a method and philosophy born from understanding the human experience, having played hundreds of characters, having worn almost every hat in the industry, and all of these were tools for moving me along my through line. This philosophy creates confidence, it protects you from negativity, it inspires others, it creates JOY. What is your THROUGH LINE? Today, we are creating funnels and working with data to execute the workshops live and in person as well as on line. This past week I have been structuring messaging and generating the audience over to SKOOL and it seems something isn/t working. So back to the drawing board- and messaging. What we are building: Creative Leadership : not just making art, but living as the author of your life. • Truth: the courage to be seen, heard, and emotionally honest in public and in the mirror. • Transformation: moving people from hiding, shame, self-doubt, or passivity into action and visibility. • Legacy: building work that outlives a single role, class, or performance.- Your work, vibes, energy and impact... are larger than you might imagine. We are all a work in progress, when this chapter of your script, book, story is over...
