Join Sergey at The Neighbourhood Sauna Leighton, on 13 March for an after-dark, two-hour traditional sauna experience designed to awaken the senses and calm the mind. Guided by centuries-old Siberian and Scandinavian traditions, you’ll be introduced to authentic sauna rituals, including in-depth breathing techniques to prepare the body and nervous system for ocean water immersion. Experience the invigorating art of birch whisking (venik), used to stimulate circulation, release tension, and deepen the heat experience. Throughout the evening, enjoy traditional Russian tea, soak in the warmth accompanied by traditional music, and move between heat, rest, and the ocean in a mindful, supported way. Join us on Saturday 28th February from 3:00pm - 4:30pm at The Tea House for a special Lunar New Year Cha Dao Tea Ceremony with Ai-Ling @blueapocalypse. An invitation to celebrate stepping into the year of the Horse with awakened presence. Living organic Chinese tea will be shared as a plant medicine in the ritual of ceremony, with each bowl providing a meditative experience to cultivate inner harmony, mindfulness and connection. An immersive 60 minute sauna ritual guided by our Aufguss master - Leif. Three rounds of aromatic steam, fanned through the space with towel techniques and music. Aufguss is a traditional European sauna experience that blends heat, essential oils and towel movements to intensify the sensory and therapeutic effects.
