6 contributions to Get Your S.H.I.T. Together
I was in a S.H.I.T. Storm!
I had plans I wanted to share with you this week. Plans for a 1 week focus on each of S H I T. Plans I was working on last Friday and intended to polish and share this past weekend. And then out of nowhere the SHIT STORM hit. I literally faced one calamity after another. And just when I though a modicum of peace had surfaced the biggest storm of all hit. I am not being dramatic. It was real... There was a wind storm on Friday Saturday morning I woke up to no internet --> starlink freezes at -32 and with the windchill it was colder. So I got out my ladder and a heating pad and those other pads you heat in the microwave and wrapped the wires and melted the ice on my Satellite dish. BTW I live 2.5 hour north east of Toronto and hot-spotting from my phone is not an option as I get 1 bar of cell signal. And no land line. Without wifi I am pretty much out of communication. Though I tried to warm the dish and wires - it did not work and in the process I fell off the ladder. Thankfully into soft snow so nothing more than a slightly sprained wrist and frustrated soul. Given the lack of response from the satellite to my heating methods, it seemed the only option was to head out an do errands and get another system. I do have a back-up and it too failed and a repair person could not come for 48-72 hours! Since it had not snowed for 2 days my driveway was pretty clear and I drive a jeep so heading out made sense. Except the wind storm had caused snow drifts and as mighty as my jeep is, 100 feet from my front door i was completely stuck. I walked back home and got my shovels. I should share that whenever I am outside now (this is new since Christmas) I also have bear spray in my pocket because a delivery person saw a pack of 8 wolves 300' from my cottage. And Sadie who normally runs loose is now always closeby and in this case safe in the car because you just never know. After 30 minutes of digging I unstuck the jeep and reversed back into my driveway and was able to get sufficient signal to text my snow plow guy. And amen he came within the hour so I could get out.

Just wanted to reach out and say thank to @Nicole Gallucci for the lessons in the class room. I had a big realization yesterday when I was writing my accomplishments, how many things I have already achieved. You were write in the video, when you said that we do not think about how many things we have already achieved. Lately I have been struggling with consistency and not giving up on something when I do not see the result right away. When I loose interest or excitement, I seems to stop what I am doing and just move on to the next shiny object, giving up on what every I was doing of going towards. When I was reflecting back on my accomplishments yesterday I realized that there were several examples when I was consistent and patient with myself I did get results and accomplished my goal. It is worth NOT giving up. I will need to remember that life is not a sprint its a marathon.
Made some updates in the classroom
All S.H.I.T. Videos, powerpoints and any corresponding worksheets have been uploaded. I was thinking that a session on Time and Money would be interesting - we never seem to have enough of both so how to optimize. Let me know what you think?

โ€œThe thing Iโ€™ve been avoidingโ€”but Iโ€™m committing to take action on in the next 7 daysโ€”is __________.โ€ This is from the intro video: I am committing for the next 7 days that I will do my morning body movements for 7 exercises to improve my mobility.

Hi, Iโ€™m Brigi โœจ Weโ€™ve moved around the world and lived in several countries over the past 20 years, so change and new beginnings are familiar to me. I love books, art, knitting, and diamond painting โ€” anything creative and hands-on that helps me slow down. I love my crystals and oracle cards and Iโ€™m always curious to learn more. I used to work as a Digital Business Manager, and these days Iโ€™m more focused on living intentionally. We share our home with our rescue dog, Hannah ๐Ÿพ I am looking forward to some accountability to do my daily morning movements and be consistent. Nice to meet you and happy to connect ๐ŸŒฟ
