Issue: Cards (raw and slabs) sitting on ebay or other marketplaces and not moving. Recommendations: Ensure you are buying liquid cards of star players. If its rookies or prospects has to be during the offseason when hype is high and sold before opening week. Build relationships with local repackers and breakers that will buy all liquid cards at 85-95% and sell them to recoup cash to invest in the next cycle. 2. Issue: Sourcing higher end liquid raw cards that are quality and gradable. Recommendations: Diversify and look for other sports/TCG and stick to the data (cards with high gem rate, good ROI, that are liquid with a lot of sales). KardSight and Raw2Riches Premium help with this so that you dont have to be an expert and you can follow the data. On ebay, always ask for more pictures and verify surface condition. At shows, inspect every single card. Relating this question back to 1), when you have a quick outlet to sell raw rejects at 85-95% (liquid cards only), you get less nervous about buying and you buy more. Buying more means grading and selling more! Also, TRACK who you buy every single card from. Over time you can build correlations around which sellers have the cleanest cards and then you can source card from them in the future. 3. Issue: Due to PSA grading delays, many members are getting cards back after the seasons have already started and some players have already had slow starts or poor performance (e.g., Raleigh & Yesavage) Recommendations: Diversify with TCG (pokemon and one piece) as these characters do not get injured or have poor performance, its pure market data, which have been trending up for both. Still stick to the liquid characters and cards for TCG though! For sports, target higher end liquid cards that can justify the higher tier quicker grading services so that you can buy/sell during offseason (no risk of player performance/injury). Right now we are safely buying NBA and NHL. For lower end cards and other grading companies, ONLY target top proven HOF guarantee players that will always sell (like OHTANI, JUDGE, LEBRON, CURRY, MAHOMES, ALLEN, etc.). 4. Issue: Buying cards that look clean on ebay and then get them back and have surface issues. Possibility of using alternate services to help with this or improve the process. Recommendations: When buying on ebay ALWAYS ask for more pictures and verify surface condition. If it checks out buy. Track sellers that you buy from to repeat purchases from ones with clean cards and prevent buying from ones with defects that are likely graders themselves. Its inevitable that you are going to get Raw Rejects. Especially from ebay. RESELL them immediately to recoup that money to reinvest, even if lose 10-20%. I typically only grade 50-60% of what I buy as the rest I find defects when inspecting. There are ways to slightly "repair" non-fiber breaking or damaging defects/scratches. Do not soak cards, only use appropriate wax/cleaner that can clean the card without damaging it. We have a close friend at Frosty Feet Cards that you can check out on YouTube and Instagram that can help with this too. You can send your cards to him and pay him $10/cards to inspect, clean, "restore" if necessary, and submit to grade for you. I recommend buying the appropriate supplies and trying the process on your own (reinvest in yourself) on low end card of different paper/finish types.

Hi. This guy is a Yankees (subject to big media hype, of course) top prospect. Been up and down between NY and Scranton (Triple A) this year, made about 4 starts , nothing earth shaking yet. I have a POP 1 on this card, only one in the world so far. Question: List it now for high $$$, if he has a big game or two, may go fast; or hold till he hits actual stardom, could be worth even more $$$.
