Okay, so you identified acquistion targets through an off market search and you finally get to the point where you are having good discussions owners. Good chance they don’t understand the sale process plus they have been managing their books with a tax savings strategy instead of a maximize profit strategy for years. In this scenario the sellers might be hesitant to do SBA financed deals. Any thoughts on helping first time sellers get over that hurdle?

Hello everyone! I am born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and I have been in family business since I was 14. I started working in the field of our famliy landscape construction company which we built up and sold in 2006. It was a 300 employee company with 7 divisions which we sold to PE so I have experience on the sell side due dilligence, contract negotions, and post sale transitions. We started a fire truck refurbishment company after that, working for federal, municipal, foreign governments and contractors which we sold in 2021 to a strategic buyer. This company had 70 employees. I am looking to get back into entrepenuership but without the 2 year struggle of starting something brand new. Looking forward to learning from all of you.
