Really enjoyed this first live video and appreciated hearing your back stories. I really resonate with the vision for the group, the thoughts shared about healing and the many ways people seek it and experience it, and the need for community. I led therapy groups for teens for many years at my old group practice and not only loved the work but saw such a need for connection and healing experiences with others. I also have led spiritual "small groups" throughout my adult life in an attempt to provide for others what I myself was craving and looking for. So, I noticed as you were both talking a bit of tearfulness and a deep breath...I think it is gratitude and relief that I can just show up, learn, be curious, and not have to be the one leading. Anyway, I am sorry I missed the gathering and am excited to do what I can to make the next one. Peace to all of you!

Hey everyone, I grew up in conservative, evangelical Christianity and ultimately migrated to mainline, liberal Christianity. In 2016, I began to have what in some Christian circles are called "charismatic" experiences which I did not understand or have a language/framework for because that was not part of my Christian upbringing or experience. I began to read and learn from folks in that tradition, however, I also grew dissatisfied with aspects of that culture and especially some of the certainty and judgmentalism I experienced in it. So, I began to seek out other wisdom and spiritual traditions to try and help me make sense of it as well as hopefully not feel so alone. I am really excited about learning from all of you as well as sharing my journey with other curious, open, and loving people. Thanks so much for the invite!
