This one in particular I really resonated with because I truly agree with it. Money is a sure sign that a business is thriving, but the dollar amount alone doesn't actually say much. If someone is rich in financials, but is not in good physical shape & doesn't have friends, are they truly wealthy? I think it applies to nearly everything in life, not just building a business. When you are consistent at doing something, no matter what it is, even if you are not exceptional at it, the natural consequence will be success. Maybe you love basketball, all you do is play basketball, watch basketball, read and breath basketball, yet you never truly become great at the sport, you can become a great coach because you understand the game so well. You might not make it to the NBA, but the love & consistency was so strong it brings you success. Any "advanced" technique to something is a combination and deep understanding of the basic fundamentals. Whatever it is your working towards, keep going. Don't overthink it.
