Be Your Own Boss, They Said…
Gain Freedom. Be in Control. Make an Impact. Sounds great, right? But ask yourself... “Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?” ~Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here So many entrepreneurs I’ve worked with chased the dream of freedom… Only to wake up trapped in a business that runs them. They traded a 9-5 for a 24/7. They swapped a steady paycheck for the illusion of control. They bought into “be your own boss” but ended up answering to everyone and everything. Clients, customers, chaos. They are revenue positive...maybe. But profit poor. They started for freedom. But somewhere along the way, the dream became a grind. They got what they asked for, but not what they hoped for. Sound familiar? You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. And you’re definitely not alone You just built a business around hustle instead of around your life. And you can change that. But first, you’ve got to be honest: Are you leading? Or are you locked up? What’s the biggest business nightmare you’re living right now? The one that caught you by surprise? If you could eliminate it, would you finally be back on track to your dream? Transform your business, transform your life.

@Mark Coleman I think that is where every entrepreneur finds themself at some point. How fast you identify it and make a change, is the critical factor. It would be great if this all came with an emergency shut-off valve...or a "break in case of emergency" type tube!

@Ismael Fraser True story, my friend!!
🎉WIN - We Launched 🚀
After months of late nights, creative sprints, unexpected detours, and deep conversations about what we really want to build… our community is finally live. It’s called RECREATE — and while the doors just opened, the heart behind it has been growing for a long time. This isn’t about promotion — it’s about perseverance.💪 There were moments we questioned it. Tweaked it. Tore it down to build it back better. And now, even though it’s not perfect (and maybe never will be), it’s real. And that’s a huge win. I want to give a special thank you to @Shannon Koss, who has poured so much love, vision, and brilliance into this project. Her partnership, dedication, and artistic eye elevated everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better collaborator and person to be by my side ♥️ If you’ve ever pushed through the messy middle to bring something to life, you know this feeling. It’s equal parts relief and quiet joy. Here’s to every builder, dreamer, and doer out there still moving forward, even when it’s hard. Keep going. It’s worth it. Be Bold. Be Free. Live Beyond Belief!!

Leadership is Overrated⁉️
We often hear a lot about leadership, maybe even glorify it — but maybe we’ve been missing the point. In under 3 minutes during his TED Talk, Derek Sivers breaks down a viral movement that started with one shirtless guy dancing at a festival. But it wasn’t the guy who started dancing that changed everything. It was the first follower — the one who stood up, risked looking foolish, and showed others how to follow — that turned a lone nut into a leader. 💡 Key takeaways: - Leadership takes guts… but so does being first to follow. - Movements aren't about the leader — they’re about the early adopters. - New people don’t follow the leader — they follow followers. - When enough join, it becomes less risky. Then it’s momentum. “If you really care about starting a movement, have the courage to follow and show others how to follow.” 🎥Watch the clip. Then drop your thoughts: ❓Is leadership overrated ❓Have you ever been the “first follower” ❓What movement are you building (or ready to join)

🌱 How I Stopped “Building a Community” & Started Growing One
I used to think community growth was all about posting more. More content. More updates. More effort. Then I realized… the best communities aren’t built on content. They’re built on connections. 👥 One conversation can bring 10x engagement. 💬 One meaningful reply can create a superfan. 🔥 One post can start a movement -- if it speaks to the right people. Now, I focus less on “creating” a community and more on cultivating one. If you had to start your community from scratch, what’s the FIRST thing you’d do differently? Drop it below! 👇
