Rant
I get so flustered in my head in what I need to say when stuff like this irks tf outta me, and I don't wanna get stuff all twisted. I do not claim to be the best with dating advice, but with the news about Klay Thompson up in the air, let me go ahead and say in the words of Muni Long, "A 🥷🏾 gone 🥷🏾 regardless." I really couldn't agree more with that. I'm genuinely still pissed off about this BS. The NBA needs to kick him out. I hope he loses EVERYTHING. I really don't care and I'm not even a Mavericks fan at that, and I'm from Michigan. Any time I see or hear about an upcoming Mavericks game and he's still on the team, Imma keep asking myself why that's the case because how do you cheat on MEGAN THEE MF STALLION???????? Also, the people blaming Meg for Klay fumbling on her is what REALLY push me over the edge. Why is that Meg's fault? Why is it her fault that she got cheated on? Why is it her fault that Klay lacked integrity? It makes ZERO sense.

On top of this, women are launching something called a "Cheat First" campaign in support of Megan Thee Stallion. Like what??????? Like Chris said, cheating is a huge non-negotiable. It does not matter who cheats. That's one of the worst things you can do if not THE worst, but doing this in support of a public figure???? What does this even achieve???? https://www.instagram.com/p/DXp8EVQj1EJ/?igsh=amNyOXM1M2JqZHc1
Update
I know you haven't seen me on the meetings lately, but I got a funeral to go to tomorrow for a member of my church who lost her husband, Fred. Her name's Denise). Don't know if I'll be able to feel up to the Zoom. I really wanted to since it's scheduled not so late in the day until I remembered about the funeral, but I am gonna catch the replay if I'm not there of course. Just asking for prayers for her, and I don't want my emotions to get in the way of anything.
Vulnerable post
This is scary to talk about, but this is something I have to share, and I know I can't be the only one who has endured this. As a child, I know what it's like to witness domestic violence as a child. I remember it happening around when I was about 5 or 6 with my mom and dad. It's TERRIFYING, especially as a child. They got divorced that same time. Even though my mom is married now (13 years as of this year come August, and that toxicity is behind her and my dad), yes, God does hate divorce, but he carried her and I through it all and He has never left us nor forsaken us. God hates divorce, but He wouldn't want us living miserable lives, especially with people who don't actively pursue us. He has always been our strength when we needed Him about ANYTHING.
