Hello Brave Women, I want to take the time and introduce myself. In my personal life, I am a mom of two adults (lady and gent) who have given me four beautiful grandkids, making me a grandmom. I am blessed with a very large family of brothers and sisters and intimate friends who became family too: cheering one another, laugh together and cry together. Since I was born and raised in Suriname (South America) with a very rich and divers culture because of our history, I am a cultural admirer. In my professional life, I am an empowerment advocate, in the role of personal and professional development coach and conservation enthusiast with over thirty years of experience in a variety of industries with over three decades of diverse experience across different industries. This led to founding Leadership Refocused. My passion for research and my curiosity, have resulted in me co-authoring: “Customer Centricity And Innovation In Automotive Sales With” (with Dr. Galill William, 2017) & “Mentorship And Professional Growth For Conservationists In Primate-Range Countries” (with Sylvia Atsalis, PhD - https://doi.org/10.1002/ajp.23592). My first solo book (self-help/ personal development and growth) has been launched on october 14 this year, while the ebook was aunched on september 30th and is called "Re-embrace You: A Journey of Self Rediscovery to Build Conscious Connections".(https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14XAHAo2BK). As part of giving back, I also offer free coaching sessions to women who cannot afford it. I am also an active member on the board of The Prasoro Foundation (a Home for children in need), Coaching young adults in different areas of their interest and coaching/mentoring students in thesis writing.
