Disappointing Product from Simple Peptide
Anybody ever had this problem? I ordered 2 mg of oxytocin from Simple Peptide. Reconstituted with 2 ml of BAC water - or at least tried. I've reconstituted over 50 other peptides and never had a problem with them dissolving. I let the BAC water slowly drip down the side of the vial and gently rotate the solution to try to dissolve it. Maybe 25% dissolved, well sort of dissolved as there was a lot of particulates suspended in the water. The rest of the oxytocin floated to the top in an intact disk. I sent an email to Simple Peptides and got an underwhelming response that was just a generic how to reconstitute peptides which is what I had followed in the first place. I responded to this message and am waiting to hear back.

@Murray Williams there have been some endotoxin and BA % variation on those recons. We (another group) did a test of many and over 50% didn’t pass. Hospira, while more expensive, was tested at 10 years, old, original seal and was good. I was just asking because that looks odd to me. It may be the pep, but it could be the solution; I threw all my recon water away and use a DIY batch I had access to that was 3rd party tested. It is controlled to .9% to .11% benzoyl alcohol. Some people are ok with using recon, based on the tests I saw from Jano, I am not. To each their own. Maybe run a pH and if it’s good - should be the pep at that point and you have more talking points with the supplier.

The batch is definitely a variable. I would hope the supplier would replace it based on the other.
BPC-157 or KPV
Has anyone researched these two peptides for there healing properties ? As far as for Stomach issues??

Over the past six months, I have utilized a regimen consisting of 300 mcg of BPC-157 and 500 mcg of KPV to address severe lumbar spine issues at the L5/S1 level. This protocol has provided significant relief. However, it is important to note that BPC-157 may induce symptoms of anhedonia—characterized by mild depression and reduced motivation—in certain individuals. In my case, these effects emerged after approximately eight weeks of continuous use. I subsequently implemented a four-week washout period before resuming the protocol. Notably, KPV proved to be highly effective in mitigating inflammation and was a pivotal component of my recovery strategy.

@Sherry Greer - I’m sorry to hear about your situation. I personally have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and previously experienced a spontaneous spinal hemorrhage resulting from a botched epidural procedure. This led to spinal cord compression and a cerebrovascular accident (CVA). Given your medical history, I strongly recommend conducting thorough research and consulting with your healthcare provider to ensure there are no contraindications—particularly in relation to your congestive heart failure diagnosis. In my case, both KPV and BPC-157 have proven beneficial. I also follow a cyclical protocol involving CJC-1295 (no DAC) combined with Ipamorelin and TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4), typically administered in four-week cycles followed by six weeks off. While the coccygeal nerve pain has been alleviated to some extent, it has not been entirely resolved. However, the arthritic discomfort associated with degenerative disc disease has been noticeably reduced.
