Just hit 100 members - party time! 🥳 Thought it'd be helpful to share with you 10 lessons I've learned along the way (and wish I knew earlier) so you can grow your Skool community more effectively & keep your members happy to lessen churn. I've also included 4 things I "hate" about Skool, AKA 'Wishlist Features' that I feel would make Skool even better. This is a big milestone for me and I'm so stoked to have made my 'clear & definite aim' a reality! Next target: 1,000 members. Enjoy the lessons, and big thanks to @Sam Ovens for all of his YouTube mentorship over the years. Ted P.S. I'd love to hear what you've learned since using Skool... If you have any tips/strategies for: • Growing your Skool group faster • Keeping your Skool members happy • Using Skool more effectively as an admin/moderator/teacher Please comment below with what they are :) You rock.

Great post @Ted Carr . I like some of the things you shared like a free 7 day trial and pausing memberships instead of cancelling. Thanks

Does anybody use an outside service like Substack or Beehiiv for newsletters? and what are your results and preferences? I know it would be nice to be able to send emails more frequently through skool

I just wanted to let the SKOOL team how much I love this software. I love the idea of creating a using social media, etc to push my tribe into a free group. Then using the free group to help create a database of potential clients and customers. This COMMUNITY Funnel idea is so much better than some throwaway email address. Creating a community of members allows us to share content, interact with them on a more personal level through the community.

Is it possible to export a list of members?

@Sam Ovens I personally want to be able to export my list. I am the owner and the admin. I had assistants invite new members. But I would like to export my list so I can send emails to them without restrictions. I send an email the day before a coaching call as a reminder and the same day as the coaching call. Right now we have to wait 72 hours to send an email.

@Sam Ovens thanks for the clarification. I didn't know a notification goes out the day before the call. Thanks

I haven't sent out an email broadcast in months. This week there has happened to be two announcements that need to be broadcasted. Very frustrating to write out the whole post only to be told I can't broadcast it.

@Sam Ovens Is this a feature we can have added? It would be nice to communicate via email broadcasts through the system 2-3 times per week.

@Sam Ovens Beautiful and thank you for the update. Very helpful :)

A few questions... 1.) Last I heard, Skool has a webhook that allows you to *add* people to a Community. Is there also one to *remove* people? 2.) Also, any plans to have a Zapier app? If so, it would be great to have the following triggers/actions: Triggers: - New Member Added - Member Removed - Marked a Video as Complete (so you can trigger an automation in your email autoresponder or add a tag to them) Actions: - Add a Member to a Community - Remove a Member from a Community - Grant Access to a Course (in the Classroom) - Revoke Access to a Course (in the Classroom) - Send Direct Message (for onboarding or for encouragement, triggered by something else that happened) The "grant/revoke" access to a course assumes you can have more than one course in the Classroom (I haven't verified this yet, but have another post about it here). Thanks! 🙌
