Prayer request
Good Morning ladies, my father passed away yesterday; I’m 8 months pregnant and just feeling a bit lost. I know yall don’t know me or my dad but I need all the prayer I can get right now. I trust the Lord and will rely on him for strength. I’m certainly weak. Please pray for me and my family and baby if you feel it on your heart. Thank you 🙏🏽

Feedback Friday: Wives Helping Wives
Today, let’s make space to pour into one another.🩷 We all face challenges — in marriage, motherhood, womanhood, or simply walking out our faith. 👉 Share one struggle you’re currently facing and would like to receive feedback on — whether it’s in your marriage, as a wife, a mother, or life in general. We want to help lighten the load of whatever may be stressing you the most! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 Then, if you feel led, reply to another wife with: 📖 A verse that speaks to her situation 📚 A biblically based resource or message that personally helped you 💬 Or a word of encouragement rooted in truth Let’s continue to be the kind of community where wives lift each other up, speak life, and remind one another that God is still working — even in the waiting in Jesus name🙏🏽 P.s: Also remember this week's challenge is to only speak life to your husband😇

@Laura Harris Hi Laura, thanks for your additional feedback. I appreciate it. I may have come off in my post like I don’t have gratitude toward my husband but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m so grateful for him and express that openly to him often as well as in prayer. I have repented for my critical spirit for sure. Actually me confessing this on such an open forum to people I don’t know but who also love Christ was apart of repentance for me. It wasn’t easy to do but holding myself accountable and being open to everyone’s feedback of all types, was certainly apart of my repentance process. I keep a journal and write letters of Jesus all the time. Many of my entries that I write that are regarding my husband are to lift him up in prayer and covering him spiritually and many expressions of gratitude to God for him. Other times, I can find myself praying to “fix him” as you put it and every single time I do, the Lord convicts me, and shows me what’s in me that still needs fixing. I love that about our God. He’ll always redirects. There are certainly times when his decisions have been questionable and certainly many more that have been sound. Either way, focusing on the positive is definitely always the way to go for sure. I grew up in a very critical household and know what it feels like. Especially from my father. I don’t want to be that way so it is something I’m very aware of in myself and I’m very intentional to work with Jesus to reflect my Father in heaven and not my earthly father. It’s all a work in progress sis. I love, honor and respect my husband very deeply. Me sharing with you all my shortcomings was to do so even more. I was thinking of James 5:16 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” Please pray for me as I will for you and my other sisters in Christ that have been vulnerable. We’re all in this together! 🙏🏽✝️
