ADHD brains are not broken
If you’re a woman/mom with ADHD and your brain feels loud, scattered, or exhausted — you’re not failing. Your nervous system is doing its best. ADHD can look like: • Trouble starting • Trouble stopping • Hyperfocus → burnout • Overwhelm from “small” things • Feeling behind no matter how hard you try Here, we don’t force productivity hacks or shame ourselves into focus. We try small, kind supports instead. If it helps today, pick one: • Set a 5-minute timer • Do the task badly on purpose • Rest without earning it No pressure to respond. Just naming this so you know you’re not alone 🤍 🐝
You don’t have to do anything 💜
Just a gentle reminder for anyone who’s joined recently 🤍 There’s no pressure to post, comment, introduce yourself, or know what to say. This space is here for moms navigating mental health in all its messy forms. You’re welcome to read quietly, w Weste and go, or engage when it feels right for you. Some days just showing up is enough. Some daysatA even reading one sentence is enough. I’m really glad you’re here — exactly as you are.

@Rozalind Murray This made me smile 🤍 Doom scrolling is brutal — I’m really glad this space feels more grounding for you 💜 B
Hi, I’m Brandi — your fellow hot mess mom 🤍
Hi mamas. I’m Brandi. I’m a mom with anxiety, ADHD, BPD, and trauma — which basically means my nervous system is permanently set to “what the hell is happening?” Some days I’m crushing it. Some days I’m dissociating while making chicken nuggets and wondering how I got here. I created Mental Health Mamas because I’m tired of spaces that act like love, gratitude, or a morning routine will magically cure a fried brain. I love my kid with my whole soul and sometimes feel completely overwhelmed, overstimulated, and emotionally wrecked. If that offends anyone — this probably isn’t their space. Here, we don’t pretend motherhood healed us. We don’t shame coping mechanisms that keep us alive. We don’t tell each other to “just breathe” like that fixes trauma. Some of us are thriving. Some of us are barely functioning. Most of us are oscillating wildly between the two. You don’t need to be inspirational here. You don’t need to be okay. You don’t even need to talk. You just need to exist — and that’s enough. If you’re exhausted, overstimulated, emotionally complicated, and still showing up for your kids anyway… welcome. You’re in the right place 🖤. You’re welcome to share, lurk, cry, vent, or just exist quietly. No pressure. No shame. Ever. I’m really glad you’re here 🤍. If you feel up to it, say hi below—or drop an emoji that matches your current mood.

@Emmason Porter absolutely! I appreciate that 🤍 For now, I’m intentionally keeping things simple and organic, but thank you for the kind words and support.

&& it begins!
Hi mamas 💜 I’m Brandi, and I created this space because motherhood + mental health can feel incredibly isolating. This is a judgment-free community for moms navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, BPD, trauma, and emotional overload. You don’t have to explain yourself here. You don’t have to be “strong” here. You just get to be human. If you feel up to it, introduce yourself below: • What should we call you? • How many kiddos do you have (and ages if you want)? • One word that describes how you’re feeling lately You’re not alone anymore. I’m really glad you’re here 💜
