This month inside Fluency University, we’re going back to basics...but with real-world urgency. It’s time for the Survival Spanish Challenge where you’ll practice using essential Spanish for everyday situations. Think: travel, emergencies, directions, restaurants, and more. Whether you're planning a trip or just want to feel confident handling real-life conversations, this challenge will sharpen your reflexes and build your confidence fast. How It Works: 1. Complete Weekly Survival Missions – Each week, you'll get a “Survival Scenario” to respond to in Spanish (posted by Profesora Kris every Tuesday). This will replace your weekly hwk. 2. Post Your Responses – Share an audio file, or written response in the group using the hashtag #SurvivalSpanish 3. Roleplay & Respond – Comment on 2 others’ posts and roleplay responses to create back-and-forth conversations. Challenge Focus Areas: - Asking for help - Ordering food - Giving and receiving directions - Emergency phrases - Making small talk with locals Prizes: Three participants will win a FREE 1:1 Fluency Strategy Call with Profesora Kris to create a personalized fluency roadmap. Winners will be chosen based on: - Participation - Clarity and effort in responses - Engagement with the community Why Join?
