Do You Name Your AI?
Quick question for the group. Who else names their AI? When I first started using artificial intelligence back in 2022, I wrote a Medium article explaining how I was applying AI across my projects. From the beginning, I wanted to be transparent about using AI and make it clear that everything it helps produce still gets a strong human touch before it goes out into the world. Because of that, it felt only fitting that I gave my AI assistant a name. I called her Echo. The idea was simple — in a way she was just echoing my thoughts, helping me shape ideas, refine writing, and explore concepts faster than I could alone. Now I’m curious… Does anyone else name their AI assistant? If you do, drop the name below — I’d love to hear what you’ve called yours and why. 👇

@Lara Knutzen yes humanising is another good topic to get into as I often talk back to my ’Echo’ I’m sure psychologists down the track will study how we interact with our artificial intelligence and that will make some interesting reading.

@Lara Knutzen yes I just realised I have an echo back home in Australia. I’ve gotta get someone to bring it across to me.
If I had to start over with using AI, here's what I'd do 👇
I would get more organized right from the start and use more focused prompts. I feel like I've been too personal, too chatty, too unfocused with Chat GPT that it tends to give me responses based on 4 whole years of life history rather than being focused on what we're doing in the moment. Even though I've created projects with specific instructions, Chat GPT still tends to stray away from what I actually want it to do. What's something you'd do differently if you were to start using your favorite AI from scratch today?

Yes I would create projects more specifically and make sure that every request is within that project and added to its memory. Initially, I was very slap hazard putting request in or prompts in and they were going anywhere.
Chat GPT, Claude, Grok or...
I've recently switched to Claude to do most of my Skool type of stuff because it just gives me more straightforward responses without so much fluff like I get from Chat GPT. So what do you all use?

@Rose Colbourne great idea and I have also been experimenting as well with this and it seems to work well.

@Lara Knutzen yes I am about to try GROK thanks for reminding me to try it, lets see how it goes.
