BEAUTIFUL THOUGHT TO SIT IN
Good Morning wonderful women~ Tuesday brings us a new day, to love, to create, to be in the Father's presence. I wanted to share a paragraph out of our Book Study Book on Heaven. It refreshed my soul and hope it does for you as well. _______________________________________ We need not wait u till the New Earth to catch glimpses of God. We're told His "Invisible Qualities" can be "clearly seen" in "what has been made"(Roman's 1:20) Consider the trees, flowers, sun, rain, and the people around you. Yes, there is devastation all around us and within us. Eden has been trampled, burned, and savaged. Yet, the stars in the sky nevertheless declare God's glory (Psalm 19:1), as do animals, art, and music. But, our vision is hampered by the same curse that infects all creation. ONE DAY we and the universe will be forever cured of sin. In that day, WE Will See God. So ... My question I am throwing out to you this morning, HOW do you see God now, in this world burdened down by the curse, where or how do you find his beauty, grace, and infinite LOVE all around you. Is there one thing? Is it the sun shining on your face in the summer, the snow and its beautiful white blanket he provides in the winter? Or the flower that bloom, the new cattle that are born and life that reappears in the Spring? Or is it in Fall when the leaves change and nature and gathers for preparation for winter, the farmer harvests its crops, the animals store its food, etc? OR is it the stars in the sky on a clear night that are so close you feel you could reach up and touch them? Or even in a new born baby as it takes in the new world. OR family, friends, and the laughter, sorrow and roller coaster ride of what relationships look like? Share your thoughts with each other below in the comments. For Me, I found this photo below is one of my favorite views I see God in. This time of year when the leaves are changing color but as you drive from Montana to Idaho over lookout pass you can see the fresh snow capped mountains and the mix of cool and warm air produces the fog as both scenes blend in awe into each other. I see God's face there. I see it in the baby calves in the spring and the babies heelers that come and how the mom dogs care and nurture them. I see it in the weathered wrinkles of a life well lived in my father in law at 91 and in the young that run through the park when I walk my dog. HE IS EVERYWHERE ALWAYS! I can only imagine HEAVEN!
