Threshold of Belonging: 2026 Feb 10 — Intuitive Tea Recording & Resources
Choosing Belonging in a Time of Collective Change @Io Ash Misako and I gathered for this week’s Intuitive Tea at the edge of multiple thresholds: the final shedding of the Wood Snake, the approach of Lunar New Year, the beginning of both Lent and Ramadan, and and a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius that will ripple through our communities and alliances for the next six months. The field carried intensity not in a rushed way, but in a truth-telling way. We spent time naming what it means to belong, to choose community consciously, and to hold standards that protect what is tender, creative, and alive. This included honest conversations about emotional release, bold communication, and the necessity of speaking out when harm is present even when it’s uncomfortable. As the Tea unfolded, themes wove together: - Wood Snake’s final shedding: rest, gratitude, and honoring what is complete and the baby-fresh skin that revealed after the shed - Solar Eclipse in Aquarius (Feb 17): communities and alliances being tested; doors closing cleanly so others can open - Saturn moving into Aries: building through courage and structure, not surrender or resignation - Gate 49 & Gate 30: community principles, emotional intensity, and the courage to choose alignment over appeasement - Boldness vs. collapse: audacity, moxie, and clear boundaries as acts of care, as you move forward with all of your parts aligned A strong through-line was emotional honesty: allowing grief, anger, tenderness, and joy to move through the body rather than being suppressed or acted out unconsciously. We talked about how unexpressed emotion becomes distortion, while honored emotion becomes clarity. The cards that came through mirrored this perfectly: disruption alongside emotional loss, fertility beside grief, generosity next to abandonment, as responsive mirrors to the moment we were in. Their their placement clarified how to stay present and aligned while crossing this threshold.
