New Video Drop In the Bronze Level
Quick heads up — Duolingo quietly updated the English Test again.
They added a new Interactive Speaking section that feels more like a real conversation instead of one-off answers, and they changed parts of Interactive Listening so you’re filling in what you hear instead of just picking options. Some older question types are gone now. If you’re using old prep material, it might not match what’s on the test anymore — so make sure you’re practicing the new format.

Duolingo English Test Update 📢
Hi everyone, If you’re preparing for the Duolingo English Test (DET), I want to share a quick update and a few important reminders. Many students focus heavily on reading and listening—but speaking and writing are often the biggest score limiters. Here are 3 things DET test-takers should be paying attention to right now: Speaking & Writing Matter More Than You Think Several task types directly affect your Speaking and Writing subscores, including: - Speaking about images - Writing responses and extended writing - Interactive speaking and writing - Read-then-speak tasks - Writing and speaking samples — Bobby from DET 95+
