At my first lesson in Vegas, they told us everyone deserves a laugh, but not everyone can afford a ticket, so every 10th show should be free.
Puppet Stands
Who are your favorite puppet stand makers and why?

I use a microphone stand with a wooden seat on top.
Brain Farts
I have an extremely hard time remembering scripts even though I read them over and over, listen to them over and over, and practice them over and over. So was wanting to see if anyone has any tips, tricks, (or even cheats) on this matter?

Type key words in large print and lay them on the floor in front of you.

Yes. I had my set list on a 5x7 inch card, attached to the mic stand.
Puppet scare
I was doing a show for children at an elementary school, and the teacher gave me three names to mention and a question to ask them. The first two were just fine, but the third was scared, covered her face, and looked like she was going to cry. The teacher put her arm around her and asked her what was wrong. The child replied in a frightened voice, "How did the puppet know my name?'"

I was doing a show with an adult audience when a woman, visibly upset, stood up and ran from the room. Her husband told me after that I should stop having the puppet's eyes move, because, at one point, he stopped and looked directly at her. My vent stories are in my Amazon book "I'll puke in your pocket!"
Vent Workshops
For those of you that have attended ConVENTion or any comedy or puppet festival, what are your favorite workshops you’ve taken and why? And if you could suggest a class or workshop to any festival or presenter, what would it be?

I enjoyed several workshops at the ConVENTions. One was with Terry Fator teaching us how to write comedy bits. It involved having a group of friends over, ordering lots of pizza and beverages, giving them a situation, and then asking them what would be a funny outcome. Some friends' ideas were right on, some comments needed a little tweaking, but they were all original comedy bits.
