First 2 years skating
I never skated as a kid. I always loved skateboarding but all I could do was cruise. I couldn’t Ollie or anything. At the ripe age of 32 with a wife and 2 kids I figured I’d really put some time into learning. Here is a highlight reel of my first 2 years skating.

Blunt to Fakie - Complete Breakdown
I finally got out the other day and was able to skate a little bit of the rust off, but after 5 months of not skating, I was struggling. Still managed to get a few clips, and made a tutorial for blunt to fakies. Not the greatest quality since I'm new to this style and these programs and how to make them work together, but we all start somewhere right?? Would love some feedback on things that work, things that don't work, what can I improve as far as tutorials go? Anything in particular. Just trying to get a feel of where I should go next with tutorials I didn't write a script or anything so this was all off the cuff. Am I rambling? Should I add some light background music? Is this TOO in depth and boring? Does this level of deep dive intrigue you? Was this actually informative? 🤔 Let me know in the comments below 👇

Anyone have any online related activities they'd like to see in here? As rad as it would be to get together and have some gnarly sessions, it's much easier to organize some sort of event online.

@Siu-Long Leon got any clips by chance? It's always easier to help when I can see what's going on. However, my main 3 tips are, try to keep your legs bent and somewhat loose, swing your hips back and forth to balance as opposed to leaning forward and back (yes you do still have to do this, but we want to try to do less of it) and don't try to balance by adjusting your legs. Your legs want to sort of be locked but still kind of flexible for minor adjustments. A majority of adjustments will come from rotating your hips up and down to adjust your legs.
