IBKR Charts
Something interesting I stumbled across. If you are using IBKR Trader Workstation, there is a new chart tool. From what I can tell, this is Tradingview tool with all the tools available. I haven't tested everything, but if this is true, win-win!! I feel that Tradingview is the best charting tool. Give it a go and see what you think. Let me know if there are any limitations.

ThinkorSwim Clean Chart Set Up
Hi Folks hope you are all doing well and having fun investing. If you think your ThinkorSwim charts are pretty ugly and not very clean looking, I agree. I came across a great video that guides you step-by-step how to set your charts up in ToS and make them clean and easy to read. This video is not another way to invest or a different investing strategy to our Rule #1 trading, it's simply a way to set up ToS and make your charting easier to see. It was helpful to me, hopefully you will find it useful as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyjRhCfhbT8
$DJI 'Three Arrows' turning Red - Signaling a Shift to Cash
Two out of our three indicators (Moving Average and MACD) on the monthly $DJI have already turned red. The third (Stochastic) is rapidly trending in the same direction. We normally monitor these "Three Arrows" at month-end reveals where institutional "big money" is positioning. While a triple-red signal doesn't mean there's a market crash ahead, it's a defensive cue. You may consider to move your holdings—like those in your 401k, IRA, or Superannuation tied to broad indices like $SPX or $QQQ—into cash temporarily. And wait for the three Arrows to turn green before re-entering, which might give you bit peace of mind. This has nothing to do with our investment or option trading on individual companies, as we know how much they worth. Not financial advice.

How to open IBKR account & apply for option permission level 3 & exchange/deposit money
1. Open your IBKR account using my referral link. It will be a US account, so you’ll need to convert your funds to USD before depositing. https://ibkr.com/referral/wenyi422 2. Fill in your personal info to open the account, better to open a "margin" account (account type: trading), instead of "cash" account (account type: investment). 3.provide details about your income, net worth, and investing experience. We need option level 3 permission, please refer to the attached screenshots — I think they should be sufficient. (pic 1 and 2) 4.Apply for option permission: 1️⃣ Open the IBKR website → log in to your account 2️⃣ Go to the Client Portal (account dashboard) 3️⃣ Click your profile icon in the top right corner → select "Settings" ->"Trading permission" -> "Request Option" (see picture 3-5) 5. How to funding Your Account: Once your account is ready, you’ll need to fund it with USD. Steps: IBKR website -> login to your account -> Transfer & Pay -> Transfer Funds -> Deposit Funds Then follow the instructions; (pic 6) Based on different currency selections, there are different methods to fund your account. (pic 7). For example, if you're using AUD, then you can transfer from WISE balance or even BPAY; If you need to convert your currency to USD, I recommend to use CurrencyFair. It’s the cheapest way I’ve found, and once you set it up, it’s super easy. My referal link:https://www.currencyfair.com/rafland/?channel=R7JA81 Let's Rock and Roll! Wendy

[Session4 Live] Are you ready to make more money? :)
Our Session 4 will start at 4:30 pm Sydney time this Sunday, Feb 22nd. On this Sunday: - We’ll begin with a review of all the Rule One option strategies we've learned so far. I’ve put them into a comparison chart for easier consumption. - Then, we'll move into the concept of standard credit spread options, but we will use them in a different way for much higher potential returns, which is called ROCS. This is one of my most lucrative strategies—it could be a very sharp weapon. - After that, we will briefly talk about some basics of charting - technical analysis part 1. - Toward the end, let's look at a few current investing/trading ideas (not financial advice) Make sure to review the previous sessions beforehand and bring your questions with you. See you there! Wendy
