🎤 WHAT WE DO
Solofield🎭University isn’t just another place where comedians watch content and scroll past advice… This is a training ground. A place where comedians come to work on their craft with intention. At SFEU, we take something that most people treat like a mystery—being funny—and break it down into something you can actually understand, practice, and improve. We focus on the real mechanics of comedy: - why jokes work - why they fail - how delivery changes everything - how timing creates laughs - how confidence controls a room We don’t believe in guessing. We believe in building. Every lesson, every module, every activity inside SFEU is designed to take you from: “I think this might be funny…” to: “I know exactly why this works.” That shift alone changes everything.

🎤 WHAT WE DO
🎤 OPEN MIC ROOM — READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST
Listen… This is where we stop talking about funny …and start BEING funny. Welcome to the Open Mic Room. This is your stage. No excuses. No hiding. No overthinking. Just work. 🎯 WHAT THIS ROOM IS FOR: This is where you: • Test your jokes • Practice your delivery • Work through bombs • Get real feedback • Get better… every single post If you’re not posting in here… you’re not growing. 🧾 POST RULES (FOLLOW THESE): 1. Keep it clean and focused 👉 1 joke per post MAX 2. Label your post (REQUIRED): • [SETUP] • [PUNCHLINE] • [FULL BIT] • [CLIP REVIEW] • [BOMB REPORT] 3. Ask a clear question: 👉 “Does this hit?” 👉 “Where’s the highlight?” 👉 “How can I improve this?” 4. NO LAZY FEEDBACK Don’t come in here saying: ❌ “This funny” ❌ “I like it” Come in like a comedian: ✅ “The pause before the punchline is the highlight” ✅ “The wording is too predictable — try misdirection” 🧠 HOW TO WIN IN THIS ROOM: The comics who grow the fastest: • Post consistently • Take feedback seriously • Rewrite their jokes • Try again This ain’t about ego… It’s about getting better. 💣 REAL TALK: You’re going to bomb in here. GOOD! That’s what this room is for. Fail here… so you don’t fail out there. 🏆 WEEKLY REWARDS: Every week I’m watching. We highlight: 🔥 Joke of the Week 🎤 Clip of the Week 💣 Best Bomb Breakdown 👑 Most Improved Comic You want recognition? Earn it. 🎓 LEVELING UP (IMPORTANT): To move up in SFEU, you WILL need: • 3 joke posts • 1 clip upload • 5 feedback comments No work… no rank. 🎤 FINAL WORD: This is your proving ground. You don’t get better by watching. You get better by doing. So post something… and let’s see what you got. — Professor BigMan 🎤 Master of The Comedic Arts Solofield University 🎓

🩻 “PunchLine Surgery”
🎯”Spot The Highlight”
🎯 OBJECTIVE: Train comedians to identify what actually makes a joke work in real time. 👥 HOW TO PLAY: Round Setup: - 1 comedian performs OR clip is played - Audience (students) watch closely ⏱️ AFTER THE JOKE: Everyone answers: 👉 “What’s the highlight?” 🧠 RULE: You can ONLY pick one (No rambling, no essays) 🧾 EXAMPLE ANSWERS: ❌ “The whole joke was funny” ❌ “His delivery and the words and everything” Vs ✅ “The pause before the punchline” ✅ “The exaggeration of being broke” ✅ “The unexpected emotional reaction” 🏆 SCORING: - Correct / Sharp Highlight → +2 points - Vague answer → 0 points - Completely off → -1 point 🔥 BONUS ROUND: “CAN YOU FIX THE JOKE?” - Identify the highlight - Then improve the joke using it 💣 WHY THIS GAME MATTERS: This builds: - Joke awareness - Faster thinking - Stronger writing - Better performance instincts

🎯”Spot The Highlight”
Highlight
🎯 How you actually use it When you’re breaking down a joke, you go: 1. Explain what’s happening 2. Then point their attention to the key moment That second part = What to Highlight
